Personally I'm still not sure if the reason they brought me here has anything to do with what I've learned or not. I'm not sure if it would be more upsetting to know they wanted this or that this was just an unintended side effect of their show.

And no, it has not been worthwhile.

you are not enjoying yourself?

I suppose I am in some ways. The relative quiet is nice. But now I know the future at home will be terrible and I can't help but think on that.

do you think you will remember what you have learned when you return?

[ontrial]

I don't know, to be honest. Even if I do, I don't think I'll know how to change anything that really matters.

perhaps it will not matter to the world.
would it matter to you?

I frame my best friend for something I did, in the future. That does matter to me, even if not being able to save the rest of the galaxy doesn't.

then learn and change it.
if it is important to you then you should take control.
what matters to you is just as important as the galaxy.

Maybe. I'm afraid that if I do go back, I won't remember to know better. Or I won't remember until it's too late. Nothing would have been learned.

if you do what you can while you are here then you must have done enough.

I hope that's the case.

But what about you? What have you learned? Why are you here?

i am here to learn my own nature.
i have discovered my curse, and how to break it.
that is enough.

[ontrial]

That sounds important. I'm glad that you have.

it is something that matters to me and no one else.
i do not know if i will remember when i return to my world.
i do not know if i wish to remember.

[ontrial]

But if breaking this curse will improve your life, wouldn't you want to remember?

[fuga]

breaking the curse will creating something far more difficult to bear.
i will be free, but the cost will be great, and i shall lose myself.
would you wish to remember?

I suppose that would depend on the impact of the curse if it's never broken. I imagine it's heavy, but sometimes difficult things must be done for the sake of improvement.

Maybe you wouldn't really lose yourself.

i know the price.
i must simply learn to live with it.

Then I hope you find the strength to do just that. If you must be cursed, find the way to make the best of it.

nothing that any would be willing to give.

Some people are more willing to give than others.

kindness and insanity are two different things.

But people do insane things in the name of kindness all the time.
