[Allen looks like he's planet-side on Solrius. He doesn't look injured, but he sure looks like this hasn't been the best of weeks. The area behind him? Looks like it just got hit by a snowstorm and a tornado, all at once.]

Hey! There's a dragon running loose on Solrius- a dangerous one, not a nice one! He's traveling with a man and they're causing damage! If you have information about either of them or their location, please tell me!

If you can fight? Please consider coming down here to protect the local villages! Don't try to take the dragon and the man on by yourself. Otherwise? I suggest traveling elsewhere!

[OOC: If you want to have an encounter with the dragon here's the log! The dragon will be defeated on the 11th. If you really want your character to be on Solrius and NOT encounter the dragon, that's fine too- it's a big planet! ]

[Since he knows there's no point searching the place after dark. He'd be at too much of a disadvantage]

Well...some food would be nice! And...maybe a change of clothes, I didn't exactly plan on being out this long.

[And, you know, despite how horrible everything is, Clay still finds it in him to give a grin and a little salute, then turn off the video feed. After that, he'll move to get some food ready and find some of Allen's clothes that... well, Allen's probably left over here, let's be honest.]

Thank you, Clay. You're the best.

[Allen a few hours later will be at the rendezvous point, or the spot that Allen had broadcasted from. Sure enough the place really does look as bad as the video made it seem- like it had been hit by a tornado, a monsoon and a snowstorm all at the same time. There were giant footprints embedded in the damp ground, and there's a few dead animals scattered here and there along with fallen trees - many who look like they've been sliced apart by claws.]

[Allen is actually nearby at the river running by the area. It took looks like it's seen better days, but it's good enough that Allen's taking the chance to wash off any dirt and blood that's gotten on him the past day]

[It's hard for Clay to land the shuttle, what with how messy and damp the ground is. Still, after making sure the sky is clear, he lands where he can, though the landing is a bit bumpy, and the shuttle ends up at a tilt. But hey, it's a landing!

When Clay exits the shuttle, he looks around, a cringe on his face from just how much destruction happened. It's even worse knowing that it's all coming from Sorey and Mikleo - well, pretty much just Mikleo, he guesses. He ambles towards Allen, having seen him while landing, but he looks all around at his surroundings as well. The animals make something turn in his stomach, and the trees... just the fact that they've all been torn apart so carelessly by two people who loved nature.

He was just here a week ago, how could this have happened...?

When he pays attention to Allen again, he rubs at the back of his neck, feeling uncomfortable with all the destruction and death around them.]

[He'll look up when he hears Clay's voice, having been lost in thought before. Seeing Clay in person, his expression can't help but soften some. ]

Hey you.

[And yeah don't think he doesn't notice the expression on his face]

Are you feeling okay?

I feel like I should be asking you that.

[Still, he gives a little smile with that statement. He squats down beside Allen on the shore, not quite willing to get his clothes dirty and wet, and crosses his arms over his bent knees.]

It's just... [He looks out over the river. Even that looks like it's in pretty terrible shape] I was just here a week ago, you know? It looks so different now.

I know....[he sighs] It could be worse, but this land will probably a long time to recover.

[He wishes he had the power to restore such things. But that is way more powerful than an Exorcist had. Where was that dog goddess when you need her]

I'm... [he sighs] I can't deny I've been itching for some Exorcist work. But I thought I'd be fighting with Sorey and Mikleo....not against.

We should try to do what we can to fix this place once it's over. [He ducks his head, fingers fiddling with the brim of his visor] I know we probably don't have much more time here, but we can't just leave it like this. They opened up their homes to us, and someone from our fleet just left it in shambles. We have to do something before we go.

[Help them rebuild, give them money to do so, plant some trees, provide first-aid, anything. Clay just can't bear to leave this place in such a horrible state, not before doing something to ensure recovery.

And... he lets out a sigh too, at that next part.]

I never thought this kind of thing would happen to them. Looking at everything that happened here, it's like... I guess it's more real.

Yeah...maybe I can try to think up some ideas to help them. They didn't deserve any of this.

[Not that anyone ever does, but hey]

I know...I'm sorry. We can get going soon... [Speaking of] Did you bring a shirt? Mine got covered in blood.

[Oh, wait] - None of it's mine, don't worry! [ALLEN THAT IS NOT COMFORTING]

[ - Which is good, since that blood thing kind of got a look. Although that look doesn't fade from that bit of "reassurance" there.]

Wait, what - Y-You didn't find them already, did you?

Well- yes and no? I found them, but they flew away before I could do much.

[Damn dragons and their damn wings]

But no, it's not theirs either. It turns out, Hellions and dragons can also corrupt other creatures who are nearby. So I had to fight some corrupted animals they left behind.

O-Oh...

[He gives a tiny glance behind him before he looks ahead at the river again. That explains the animals he saw, then.]

Well, uh. I'm glad it's not your blood.

[Because what else does he say to that?]

Thanks. Squirrels are arseholes.

[Allen holds out his right hand as if implying he'd like a shirt now. If Clay looks close...yeah, looks like he did get scratched up a bit by hellion squirrels. Arseholes]

Thanks for coming to pick me up.

[He looks down at the scratches Allen got and - jeez, yeah. He can't help wincing a little, because it looks like that hurts.

Yet he softens his look up a bit, then takes Allen's hand, knowing that wasn't really what he was going for, but starts to pull him up anyway.]

Here, I've got an extra set of clothes in the shuttle. And a first-aid kit.

[Yeah so Allen wasn't expecting Clay to start pulling him up, and he was squatting on the very edge of the river bank. So when Clay pulls him up? It surprises him enough to lose his footing, which makes him slip on that muddy riverbank, AND-]

Whoa, whoa WHOA!

[SPLASH! RIGHT INTO THE RIVER. And yeah, Clay is possibly pulled along with this klutz, sorry honey.]

Wha - WAUGH!

[And Clay wasn't expecting Allen to fall in, and well, Allen is stronger than he is, so he gets pulled right in with him.

SPLASH!

Thankfully they were on the shore, so it wasn't particularly deep, but. It was also muddy. So when Clay sits himself up and takes in a breath, his clothes are definitely soaked and dirty, and he can't help letting out a wavering noise as he wraps his arms around himself and immediately shivers. Okay, an ice dragon being around the planet means that the water is cold too, apparently!]

[Allen sits up too, gasping for air and yep, sure got a lot of mud on him- and his hair is sure taking on a brown and green look from the mud and algae. Not that he cares at this second because]

Gah!! It's freezing!!

I-It wasn't like this before, was it?!

[Because of that, Clay's definitely trying to get out -

Only to slip and fall again. This mud is slippery!]

H-How should I know?! You were the one here a w-week ago!

[God it's so cold. He was trying to get up too after Clay, but when Clay slips and falls? Yep. It's right into Allen and down he goes]

Gah! [SPLASH]

Gack -

[As he sits up and coughs,]

Ugh, I think I swallowed some of it!

[COUGH COUGH IS HE GONNA DIE THAT WAS MUD AND ALGAE]

[He sits up and coughs up the water as well. So gross]

Ugh! I think I touched something slimy...!

[THIS IS THE WORST.]

Okay, I think- the bank is out, but- um- [he glances around until he spots a tree with firm enough roots that hadn't been knocked over]

Yeah! I think I have an idea! Grab onto me!

Y-Yeah, okay!

[And so he does, like a drowning man grabbing hold of a lifeguard here to save him]

Okay!

[Once he's sure Clay is holding tight, he'll aim his left arm up towards that tree and shoot a few glowing ribbons to latch onto it. They do so successfully, and with a tug, both of them get pulled out of the muddy water! As they get high enough above the bank, Allen uses his weight to swing them to the shore, where they land....not, in the most graceful of landings, but instead with a tumble and roll to the ground that while still damp, is nowhere near as bad as that river, and is even soft enough to land on without injury]

[When they come to a stop, Allen is on the ground and pumps his fist into the air as he deactivates his powers]

Ha! It worked!

[Though he has yet to realize, that this may be the wrong side of the riverbank from Clay's shuttle.]

[Oops]

[That was a bit of a rough landing, but - better than staying in that awful river! Clay gives a few more coughs, then grins, rolling up to his knees to also pump both fists in the air.]

Woo! We're finally out! We...

[Aaaand he trails off as he looks across the river and... at his shuttle.]

... Weeee gotta go back across.

Yeah! We're-

[And then it sinks in what Clay just said]

What? [He glances over and sure enough, that is the shuttle on the other side of the river. Allen....stares for a minute before his head falls back onto the ground]

Oh my God, you got to be kidding me. This is- [He makes a sound like he's almost holding back a laugh. He's tired and this is ridiculous, okay] This is ridiculous.
