Does anyone have any apples or honey or anything close to either from the last stop? I was...just thinking about it today. [Softer.] Not that I even know how to tell when sundown is in space.

[But she knows it's close to Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish new year, but nailing down a date would take calculating she can't do based on a moon that's not even here. She's not really a religious person and has some definite issues with god especially after everything she's been through back home, but the traditions remind her of better times when she was young with her family. She didn't think about it much in the last place because they didn't run off of a calendar she was familiar with, but here it brings back memories.]

Anyway, I'd trade for some if you do. We'll work something out.

Leshana tovah. [She's wishing people a good year in Hebrew, but she doesn't bother explaining the meaning.]

[Probably for the best. It's old issues. Nothing he's done or doing.] Off we go. [He knows the rules, so she trusts him to follow along with his hand in hers.]

[Frankly, his hand is probably starting to get a little clammy from all the excitement.

He manages not to break into a jig once they're through the wall again, but his smile is just as wide.]

You know I'm going to ask to do this at least once every time that we meet from now on, yeah?

Maybe I'll start charging for rides. [And once they are safely out she solidifies them again and releases that hand of his. She doesn't mention any clamminess at least!]

I knew I should've been less effusive about the whole thing!

[But he grins as he says it and cocks his head in the direction that he thinks the bar is in.]

I was just about to grab a drink, if you'd like to join me! The responsible adult in me has decided to get something of the non-alcoholic variety, because I suppose drinking-and-driving is still something to be frowned upon in space.

Oh, no, you can get wasted and fly a shuttle into a ship. Everyone loves that. But sure, I've got some time.

But you'll want to go this way. [Nodding her head in the actual direction of the bar.]

That's not going to get you out of paying for future wall trips. [She's teasing. Money is pretty meaningless to her.]

[He's gotten a tiny bit of money, probably from his misadventures in the kitchen.]

We are, but haven't you ever just really wondered what it would be like to splash your drink on someone? Happens in the movies a lot, right?

If I recall correctly, it usually happens to the hapless, boorish male characters in the "rom com" genre. I think we just tend to try our best not to be on the receiving end of it.

Okay, okay, you stay dry and I'll buy the drinks because I've been here longer and have way more shame cash.

Shame cash! I like that! I'll have to make sure my first shame-cash-drink is a memorable one! Possibly something fruity with a little paper umbrella!

[Looking amused.] Don't expect fresh fruit and you should be okay. [Space and all. Not that exceptions don't happen near the right worlds.]

So what other fine establishments can we find on this ship? An arcade, perhaps?

Thank you. I'm pretty proud of that. [They balance their nutrition though. She was in more danger of it back in her home world where everything was in ruins.]

There's a room for working out and an obstacle course for training. Also a library. [And those are her favorite and most used rooms on the Iskaulit.] There's also a community garden, a place to let the pet foxes run and play, and the engineering lab. [Okay, she likes visiting those rooms too.] Mmm, the interfaith center and meditation room. [Not a thing she usually frequents even if she likes Stefan who runs the center.] Two bars... [Is she missing anything? She might be missing things. Art things.] Oh, well, Winn and Cisco's lecture hall of course. No arcade, but some of the other ships have pinball machines.

Some planet stop before my time. There are also a lot of pet slugs around.

Interesting choice in animal companions. But maybe this means I'll finally get that dragon I've always wanted!

There's a queen with a dragon egg, so you never know. And the slugs aren't so bad. Winn has one named Pixel. He's kind of...soothing?

[Sorry, Pixel the slug - while cute - is nowhere near as interesting as a possible Khaleesi in our midst!]
