From all the way to the north of the Wall, to across the sea to the Free Cities. I never went to the south of Westeros, though. [He sighed, as he moved up the trail.] Perhaps I shall, one day.

The Free Cities? Are they in Essos, where Dany is?

Isn't Highgarden in the southern part of Westeros? Margaery's told me lovely things about her home. It's suppose to be beautiful.

In my world, I have yet to meet her ... but I have seen her from afar. Which, honestly, seems to be how most tragic romances begin.

She is not ... [But he is, most wholeheartedly. Her question brings him to pause, and he frowns for a moment in thought.] Quite honestly? No, I do not. I have my theories, but no hard evidence.

Goodness, the death of a king is... I know how difficult that makes things. If you are not sure of a suspect, do you at least have you any idea why someone wanted him dead?

... My dear Riona, I can think of about a half a dozen reasons why someone would want to execute Joffrey, and not the least of which that he was the product of incest. [Is Tyrion's dry response.] He was also a mad little monster.

Like I said, there was a long line of people who wanted to kill Joffrey, for a variety of reasons. I was just the scape-goat. I believe the marriage was arranged before the bride and the family learned of Joffrey's certain ... disabilities. They also wanted to make sure they were secured to the royal family after they supported a king-caninidate who was horribly murdered in magical circumstances.... I could go on, if you want to know the whole torrid affair.

Then Margaery lucked out, it seems. [No wonder she didn't speak on it much.] Morbid curiosity eggs me on. I imagine this is all tangled up in that War of the Five Kings you talked about some time ago? So, one king-candidate died in... odd circumstances involving probably terrible magic, one was mad, and... well, poor Robb. [She shakes her head sadly.]
