[ on the night of the 28th, the lecture hall will open its gates though it'll look remarkably different. Winn and Cisco would have decorated the corridors leading to it with Jack-o'-lanterns made from the pumpkins gathered at the little patch on the planet. The hall itself will be similarly decorated, along with other traditional scary Halloween decorations made from paper and fabric ( don't ruin the little paper spiders, they took hours to make! ). There will be music from various times of Earth-1 and Earth-3, so don't be surprised to find Lady Gaga playing alongside the Spice Girls! Feel free to make requests or otherwise, just show your skills on the dance floor!

There will be a bar run by Nami offering free sodas, though you'll have to pay for your own alcohol ( remember, don't drink and fly! ). Alongside the bar, characters will find a few tables offering candy from Earth-1 won by Cisco at the game room with a little sign reading TAKE ONE, LEAVE SOME FOR OTHERS and quite a lot of space chips and protein dips as well as various candy from all over the different planets ( cleverly hoarded by Winn! ) and a large selection of pumpkin pies and pumpkin treats. Characters will also find a line leading to Cisco's trusty ice cream machine, though it'll only offer peanut butter flavored sorbet.

At the corner of the hall there will be a karaoke machine with a little sign-up sheet. Characters could sign up solo or in groups and list the song they'd like to sing. Keep in mind though, the entire hall will be able to hear your rendition of Sexy and I Know it!

Adventure-seeking characters will be able to follow signs reading HAUNTED HOUSE and reach a large hall that was turned into a maze by large cardboard blocks painted black or covered by dark fabrics. Making it out of the maze won't be too hard and the maze itself won't be too frightening but will be mildly startling. It'll include some nifty engineered animatronics of witches, scarecrows, scary clowns and skeletons as well as holograms of ghosts! The song featured in the invitation will also be heard here, on repeat. It's a good break from the dancing and for some private conversations and moments.

Remember, costume are mandatory! you don't want to be caught by tonight's pumpkin kings, do you? ]

Superman is my Captain America, except alive in my days. I used to pretend he would come to my room and be my best friend - don't tell Kara. [ this is 100000% a crush. ]

I won't. [Kissing his forehead. She didn't need Captain America to rescue her when she was safe with her parents and grandfather listening to those stories. She thought he was great for helping others though. When she was alone and needed rescuing it was the X-Men that came to her. No one ever came for little Winn who needed someone. He had to save himself. He didn't get heroes until recently.]

He'd be lucky to have you as a best friend. I know I am.

[winn]

[ she's saying something very sweet. he should be focusing on that. but he's drunk, he's tired -- and the thought that superman might like him is making him an excitable kid again. ]

You really think he'd like me?

[passingthrough]

[She messes with his hair.] I don't know him, but sure. What's not to like?

[winn]

[ he just smiles gleefully, suddenly very awake. ]

I'm connected now -- oh my god I might actually meet him someday! [ which is not a new thought but it's thrilling every time it comes up! ]

[passingthrough]

Sure. I mean, doesn't he ever visit Kara? [You know, when they aren't in a reality show space fleet.]

[winn]

Well, he came by once to rescue her when she started Supergirling but she was not happy - if he's been by since she hasn't told me about it.

[ which breaks his heart both for himself and for her. ]

Tell her that you want to meet him.

[winn]

[ eyes going wide, he shakes his head. ]

I can't do that. He's Superman. [ and he's just...well he's his cousin's best friend who helps her with everything she needs but he also never asks her for anything and this is a huge thing to ask for and what if he hates him?? his heart will break irreparably! superman is cool, he's friends with cool people like james. ]

Okay, okay. [She'll tell her then.]

But I'm serious about you being a great guy, Winn. And if this Superman is as great as you seem to think then I think he'd be happy to meet you.

[winn]

He's better - you'll see when we get home.

[ nobody who didn't grow up looking up to superman, idolizing him, fantasizing about being rescued by him or better yet - helping him save the world - will ever see him the way he does, but he's still an amazing guy. ]

Now I get to meet him too? [Better than Winn? UNPOSSIBLE!]

[winn]

He'll definitely want to meet the cool new superhero on the scene - [ though that 'too' is making his heart perform crazy flips ] but I was thinking seeing him in action. I have every article and video of him saved up, we could have so many movie nights -- [ bouncing excitedly.

that's blasphemous kitty, superman is better than any man! ]

[That sounds like the lamest movie night.] Oh wow.

Why do you like this guy so much?

[winn]

He's - and I - and then he - and the world - and - [ so many flustered hand gesturing, how does he explain this, she's going to think he's so pathetic. well, it's true, he is pretty pathetic, and the superman shrine on his hard drive would have definitely clued her in on that if she didn't already get the memo.

he deflates. ]

Forget it. Nobody gets it. [ cisco comes the closest, but barry is like kara is to him. he didn't have that hero to look up to from afar.

he goes back to sweeping. ]

Hey. [Curls her arms around him from behind which can't make sweeping easy.] Give me a chance, handsome.

[winn]

[ he drops his voice. they may have been left alone for the moment, but who knows when cisco or the other volunteers could walk in. ]

I know I still don't know him, but there were times he was my only friend.

[ and yes, he knows it was just an image, a fantasy in his head, but it was more than he had anywhere else. ]

Just knowing he was out there, it made a difference.

[She tightens her hold and kisses the back of his neck.] I'm glad you had that at least. [And it hurts that it wasn't more.]

[winn]

[ he pats her arms, and sniffles. definitely not crying! it's just a stuffy nose. ]

Hey, I'm fine. I have more friends than fingers now -

[passingthrough]

[She loosens her grip but only to turn him around for a front-facing hug instead.] How it always should've been. How it always will be if I have anything to say about it.

[winn]

[ returning the hug, he holds her tight. ]

You're trying to make me cry, aren't you? [ it's a weak joke, barely masking the fact that he really is on the verge of tears here. ]

[passingthrough]

Cisco dared me to. I get an extra scoop of peanut butter ice cream if I do it. [Rubbing his back.] I love you.

[winn]

[ he huffs a choked up little laugh ] You sold me for an extra scoop? I'm worth at least two -

[ leaning his head against her neck, he breaths her in, savoring the moment. ]

I love you.
