So...I've been wondering this for awhile- but is it normal for worlds not to have monsters? Because I've noticed a pretty big lack of them everywhere we go.

[Honestly, Kaneis just isn't sure if his father was a human or an angel by the end. There was actually very little he knew about his father beyond what others have told him. It's not that he was too young to remember him, he could remember him very clearly. It was just, well...how it was with his father.]

[Still, he preferred to think his father was human. It made him feel just a bit more human too.]

So...yeah. Go ahead and be upset if you want, there's nothing wrong with that. [He offers a bit lamely; since he really isn't comfortable talking about anything related to his father] Heard there's a tub of ice cream in the freezer, if you're the type to eat your feelings.

[ Somehow, that gets a startled laugh out of Chris. His hand finally stops sparking and he holds it over his mouth until he calms down because some of that is just a little bit more hysteric than it should be. ]

No. No, um... I'm more likely to make anything than eat it myself.

[ His anger has turned down to a simmer because he wasn't really mad in the first place. Cole being so cavalier about preparing his own vanquishing potion isn't anything he ever expected and all he's able to do is relive turning fourteen all over again. That helplessness is building and he stares at his hand for a long moment before something different forms instead of the earlier energy. ]
