[She hugs back because hugging is always good. But she also wants to keep him from worrying too much.] I didn't really get to know them as well as I should have. [She liked them both. Felt like they fit the crew well. But she was just on the Tourist so much or the planets depending on where they were.]

It does mean I'm back to the only pilot for the Windrose. [And that isn't the worst thing. The ship is going to stay on course with the Marsiva whether she's there or not, but she'd rather be there more.]

[ he was only starting to know ordis, but he liked him. he was funny.

he strokes her hair as he holds her, nodding. he knows where this is going, and he understands, he understands responsibility all too well. if the tourist needed him professionally he would find it hard to stay on the windrose for his personal reasons. and yet, staying away from the tourist every night would be a hard pill to swallow if that's what's needed - he loves nighttime on the tourist. most of the ship is awake and encounters happen that can't happen at any other time. plus, he feels safer there than he does anywhere else - he's completely surrounded by friends and loved ones on that ship. but he doesn't think she's going to ask something that extreme of him - probably just more of a leaning towards staying on the windrose, right? the tourist doesn't have a pilot at all, and they manage fine. well, they'll make it work either way. ]

Better get some stuff together while I'm still awake.

[She gives him a squeeze, happy he understands. She knows it's a little silly since some ships don't have a pilot at all. In fact, she's always been glad to be around the Tourist just in case they need one.] But we'll stay here tonight. Maybe you can actually catch up on some sleep, you party animal you. [She hopes this every night.

She just wants to weight their nights a little more at the Windrose. She wouldn't ask him to leave the Tourist completely.]

[ he understands silly better than anyone. it's his native tongue.

he smiles, happy that she too seems to understand his concerns. ]

Wanna move this party to bed? [ nuzzling. he released a lot of nervous energy in the weeks leading up to the party and then in the party itself. it was crazy amounts of work, but he needed it, it was like a reboot to his fleet experience. ]

[It was a great party. She thinks a lot of them needed that.]

Why, Mr. Schott, are you trying to seduce me? [She smiles at that nuzzling and presses a chaste kiss to his neck.]

Do or do not, there is no try.

[ in his yoda voice. ]

I'll even let you turn off the lights. [ a pause. ] Wow that sounded way different in my head. [ more I'm brave and less I'm ashamed of my body. shaking his head, ah well, she said she wanted the babbling. ]

That might have been less seductive than you imagined. [Possibly even less than she's thinking if she'd known the reference. She kisses the tip of his nose.]

I understood what you meant. The second time. Not so much the first.

Why don't you show me how it's done then, sensei.

[ he would find her talking to him in a yoda voice very attractive, just saying. ]

Do you think you're ready for that? [She smiles and pushes herself up off the floor to stand.]

[ extending one hand towards her for help, he uses the other to push himself up ]

I was born ready. [ that doesn't work here does it. ah well. ]

[She laughs and loops her arms over his shoulders once he's up to slide in and kiss him.] I'm not sure baby me was as ready as you were.

We'll just have to make up for it now. [ he wraps his arm around her waist in return, smiling. ]

I wonder how Kara feels about having to knock on her own office door. [Leaning in for one of those make-up kisses.]

Pretty sure she gave up on it.

[ he kind of completely took over. 'kara's office' is what they call it, but they all know it's winn's - it was his bedroom, and now it's his work space.

proof: he's completely comfortable making out with her here, which he does. ]

Oh no, but what about all her personneling? [A joke really. What is that even?

Kissing. Kissing. Kissing. Pulling back.] I was supposed to be bedding you, wasn't I?

[ he would answer, but he's too busy with all the kissing - oh. the kissing's gone. :c ]

I thought that's what we were doing -

[She laughs.] With a bed in the room. Come on, hot stuff. [Stepping backward toward the door as if she needs those.]

Coming, honey -

[ following along, his smile turns just a touch giddier when they approach the door, he still gets so excited every time she phases him through something. ]

[She sees that reaction and falls 3% more in love with him even as she pulls him through the solid surface like it wasn't there.] I do love making you say that.

[ so by now she's about 845785748% in love with him? because it happens every time. ]

What, honey? [ cuz he threw it out there as half a joke but if she likes it, it can stick around. ]

[It's about that, yeah.] The other part. [It was a bad, dirty joke.]

[ he laughs and leans in for a kiss. ]

A little premature for that.

[ bad jokes are his jam. ]

[Hallway kisses—their specialty. You're welcome, Tourist!]

Fair point. I guess we should keep going. [Eyebrow waggle as she pulls him toward their room.]

[ aaaaaaaand there's that excited look again. as far as he's concern if you don't find phasing cool you're dead inside, ok.

he kisses her again once they're through. ]

She never expected someone to enjoy it this much or this long. She was just glad it didn't scare him. She really hopes it never does. It would hurt to lose this. But she isn't thinking loss as he kisses her. She isn't thinking anything. She's just feeling warm and happy and in love.]
