I think it might be time for me to ask for a little bit of advice.

I've been here a while, now, and I'm normally very good at not missing people. I used to give people tips on how to feel better about it, and it used to work for me, too, back when I was in the Drabwurld and there was a war to focus on. I would go and look in the library, but I can't imagine there's much of a help section there - dreadful, honestly - so.

If anyone has any suggestions on how to cheer yourself up, I'd be glad to hear it.

(Also: I have potions for all the ships on the fleet, now. If you'd like a set for your Lab, please let me know and I can bring them over!)

Well... I usually hang out with friends when I'm feeling down? Do you want to talk about it? I know we're not like great friends but you're a good person, you know? Everyone feels down once in a while. Besides - I don't know if you like dogs, but I have Naga here if you'd like to meet her and pet her a while? That makes me feel better sometimes when I feel sad about being here.

[ Korra is one of the people Hermione misses, and seeing the name pop up - it makes something in her heart ache. She works through it, though, forcing herself to reply as casually as possible. ]

Thank you for the offer, Korra. I love dogs. I owned a dog that could fly in the Drabwurld - his name was Godric and he was a complete pain in the backside. Do you think Naga would mind?

Not at all! If anything Naga likes being petted more than anything. Except maybe playing fetch. She'd love you.

[ The problem is - she remembers. ]

Should I bring my own ball?

If you have one and don't mind her slobbering all over it, sure.

I could transfigure one for her to keep, I think.

Transfigure? You mean like bending? Sure, she'd like that.

It's a little bit like bending, but my magic isn't quite limited to elements. I can change a pin into a match, for example, or a rat into a cup.

Oh!! That's so cool! Can I see you do it sometime?

[insert sparkly eyes of pleading and happiness?]

It's nice to have someone around who gets stuff like that. Most of my crew is pretty normal. By their standards, anyway. And then there's Sokka who doesn't bend but he gets it, I guess.

Of course, I don't mind at all.

[ She's more than a little experienced at showing off to benders now. ]

I understand completely. My parents didn't really understand at home, so when I was back at school it was nice to be around people who understood how my magic worked.

Yeah, my parents are kind of the same? My dad's a bender, though so he kind of gets it but he's got like zero experience with the whole Avatar thing. So, I'll see you soon? Unless you want alone time. I mean - I understand if you're still feeling down. I figure, since I'm offering Naga's services we could hang out.
