actionnn

Who: Phoebus' Crow, anyone else.
Broadcast: n/a.
Action: Way-station
When: ...Now?? Oct 10th.

[ It's about time. Pheobus' Crow isn't generally one to feel at all claustrophobic but between the strange hair-changing girl and the captain wannabe (though now he supposes he actually is captain, of all the misfortune) he's more than ready to spread his wings and work out the irritable little kinks that have been starting to build in the back of his mind.

The moment they're docked and the main doors open, Crow is gone from the ship and takes to the air. While the mall strip-like areas remain oddly bare and unwelcoming there's at least plenty of room for him to spread his wings and ample space to perch. The courtyard looks nice and all that, but something about having the vacuum of space above his head isn't quite so comforting as an actual roof.

So if you happen to be making your way through the outer ring of the way-station you might just hear the sound of a crow, cawing. Or maybe you're just crazy. Birds in space? Pshaw. ]

Because I think it will be fun.

I like fun.

You can call me Tek.

[because, in this instance, he doesn't care if the crow decides to tattle about who sent him]

[call him paranoid. because he is.]

Likewise.

...And can I ask if all birds talk where you come from, or are you a special case?

[smart-assery duly noted]

You know I'm not asking about mimicry.

What makes you so special?

[ha, he laughs. good answer, in his book.]

Are you? I was under the impression that crows all looked alike.

[another low chuckle]

Then I'll have to take your word for it. I'm sure you are a fine specimen of your kind.

You do have beautiful plumage.

[he's not above handing out petty flattery]

I even bet you're hardly covered in fleas and mites at all.

[you could say he gets a petty thrill from RUFFLING FEATHERS]

Wonderful.

And, normally I would attempt to offer a drink or to share a little meal as a gesture of goodwill, but I really don't know what would be considered proper in this case. ...Nevermind our lack of resources.

I very rarely make friends with birds.

Oh, well. If you insist.

I suppose words will have to do-- in that it has been an absolute pleasure meeting you properly.
