[ It's about time. Pheobus' Crow isn't generally one to feel at all claustrophobic but between the strange hair-changing girl and the captain wannabe (though now he supposes he actually is captain, of all the misfortune) he's more than ready to spread his wings and work out the irritable little kinks that have been starting to build in the back of his mind.

The moment they're docked and the main doors open, Crow is gone from the ship and takes to the air. While the mall strip-like areas remain oddly bare and unwelcoming there's at least plenty of room for him to spread his wings and ample space to perch. The courtyard looks nice and all that, but something about having the vacuum of space above his head isn't quite so comforting as an actual roof.

So if you happen to be making your way through the outer ring of the way-station you might just hear the sound of a crow, cawing. Or maybe you're just crazy. Birds in space? Pshaw. ]

riku looks shyer than he did before, a little bit of red coming to his ears as he shakes his head idly. ]

I've done horrible things in the past, and I haven't learned from them yet. I'm still a work in progress. [ looking over at crow, he smiles, even if it's kind of subdued. ]

So you don't have to say stuff like that. I'm gonna make sure you find someone no matter what, you don't have to butter me up.

Please, do not receive my words as idly flattery. I speak but plain truth from my end. [ Truth to varying degrees anyway... ] Recognizing your own faults is often the first step to learning from them. I think if you can at least do that much you'll do quite a lot better than most humans I encounter.

[ He stretches his wings and flaps his way down to the seat of the bench, walking over to the portion closest the silver-haired teen. ]

At the very least you are kind. The same cannot be said for much of those I've met on this station.

[ riku doesn't flinch nor scoot away, just peering down at him. come sit on his shoulder pretty bird ]

Are you talking about the guy who'll throw stuff at you, again? What's his name, anyway?

I believe his name is Gin. [ He's tempted... ]

[ elbow on his knee, and open palm supporting his chin, riku looks off. ]

To keep an eye on him. Who knows what other kinds of things he does if he likes throwing things at innocent people.

Do you intend to look out for even the adults? [ What a do-gooder.... ]

Well, of course. Just because they're not a kid doesn't mean they can handle themselves. I've run into some pretty weak grown-ups.

[ does pete count as a grown up... ]

Hmhm... You seem quite mature for your age yourself.

[limitstorm]

[ riku sighs at that, closing his eyes. he's used to being mature despite wanting to have fun or the like. ]

That's what I keep hearing.

[ he looks back to crow, now. ]

[ He caws at him all disarmingly; nice and quiet, not at all scornful. ]

[ look at that flustered, surprised noise, and that red face ]

Riku. Sorry. I guess I got so caught up...

[ Such a child; he wants to laugh aloud but alas, this form. ]

Riku then... Charmed. I am Phoebus' Crow.

[ look at that noise. look at it. it is too late for me ]

Phoebus' Crow... was Phoebus your first Master? [ a moment of pause. ] Do you call yourself something else?

[ So many questions. Riku are you curious ]

Once upon a time, yes. I have not gone by any other official name though; you may call me as you wish.

Wh--I can call you whatever I want? [ he looks a little dubious ] Seems weird to pick out a name to call you by.

[ but the gears in his head are turning, just in case crow really doesn't care... ]

If that is your wish. I am used to having names granted to me by others. It comes with my...Servitude. [ If you can pick a name YOU CAN SELL YOUR SOUL ]

Huh? Uh--no... hm. [ scratches his cheek. ] I guess that's the first thing someone would think about... would Beckett be better?

I did say you could call me whatever you wished; my own opinion on the matter isn't necessary. I just thought it an interesting choice considering your relationship with the divine.

I don't have any relationship with the "divine". I'm not even religious. [ much to the dismay of his parents... ] I'm saying your opinion is necessary, anyway.

For someone who'd become a servant to someone else, you sure don't seem picky with the people you hang around.

Well yes. What better way to find a Master than to converse with those around me? I would think it much faster than simply flying around watching people. Though that can be entertaining in its own right at times.
