[After the mystery and isolation of their last destination, the Marsiva seems determined to head to brighter, busier territory. After a long journey through remote, nebula-painted space, speeding along at a brisk pace for the Host ship, the Marsiva brings her Fleet to a sudden and prominent point of traffic.

It seems that the Fleet has happened upon some sort of vacation destination! Maybe Atroma thinks that the passengers deserve some rest and relaxation... or just wants to distract them with something huge and shiny.

Welcome to Hotel Corona! Feel free to enjoy yourselves and enjoy the sites! If a hotel resort isn't your thing, you can head on over to the nearby planet and explore it's icy wonders.

[ Her expression lights up with a small smile, her arms moving up and around his neck. ]

Just sleeping?

[beathach]

[he was being so cool and smooth about this and THEN SHE WAS HERSELF. He awkwardly clears his throat]

Er. It - doesn't have to be - just sleeping?

[athru]

[ Raven can't help the way she laughs, hiding her face in his neck. ]

Oh, Hank.

[beathach]

[he huffs, wrapping his arms around her]

Don't laugh at me.

[athru]

I'm not laughing at you.

[ She's not, really; she's just happy, even as she leans into him and squeezes him gently. ]

[beathach]

Mmhmm.

[he squeezes her back, resting his chin on top of her head] I'm sure you're not.

[athru]

You'd know if I was laughing at you.

[ Kissing his jaw, she moves away to finally get herself into the room proper. ]

... It's not that bad.

[beathach]

Of course I'd know.

[he lets her go and follows her in, pulling the door shut behind them]

. . . my lab is nicer.

[athru]

Of course it is. Your lab is yours.

[ Walking through, Raven takes it in with her hands on her hips. ]

... It'll do.

[he huffs a little laugh, giving a good look around himself before turning his attention back to her]

Oh yeah?

[athru]

You're here, I'm here...

[ Her expression softens. ]

It's perfect.

[beathach]

[his does as well, his smile small, but no less genuine]

I think so, too.

. . . you're so ridiculous.

[it's become a term of endearment now]

[athru]

[ Raven just turns back to look at him, tilting her head and crossing her arms. ]

I'm ridiculous?

[beathach]

I don't see anyone else here.

[is he excluding himself? Yep]

[athru]

[ Raven just scoffs. ]

I should just hold up a mirror.

[beathach]

To see your beautiful face?

[now he's cruising]

[athru]

[ She scoffs. ]

[look at this innocent face]

[ She can't help rolling her eyes, leaning up to grab him for a quick kiss. ]

Let's go make sure the bed isn't made of glass or some kind of exploding material.

[beathach]

[he laughs into the kiss]

I'm sure it's a perfectly normal bed.

[athru]

It's a lab. Shouldn't we test that theory?

[ She smirks. Yes, she did that. ]

[beathach]

[oh my god. He leans back to stare at her, trying not to laugh]

I suppose we should. What sort of testing did you have in mind?

[he's going to try to go there. HE'S TRYING . . .]

[athru]

[ All she can do is raise her eyebrows. ]

If we're both testing theories, then we're both scientists.
