You can check out anytime you'd like.. [Hotel Corona Mingle]
Who: The Fleet!
Broadcast: If you want
Action: Hotel Corona or Planet Ikke
When: December 7th onward

[After the mystery and isolation of their last destination, the Marsiva seems determined to head to brighter, busier territory. After a long journey through remote, nebula-painted space, speeding along at a brisk pace for the Host ship, the Marsiva brings her Fleet to a sudden and prominent point of traffic.
It seems that the Fleet has happened upon some sort of vacation destination! Maybe Atroma thinks that the passengers deserve some rest and relaxation... or just wants to distract them with something huge and shiny.
Welcome to Hotel Corona! Feel free to enjoy yourselves and enjoy the sites! If a hotel resort isn't your thing, you can head on over to the nearby planet and explore it's icy wonders.
In order words: it's a mingle!! Everyone get in! ]

[Says the least sympathetic captain ever, rolling the base for a snowman.]
I said you'd need a thicker coat to be out here.
no subject
[In his size anyway. Even then it's kinda big on him.]
Doesn't change that it's freezing out here!
no subject
[Do you want to build a snowman]
no subject
[But he'll walk over to him. At least being so lightweight makes it easier to walk across snow]
What're you doing anyway?
no subject
[Rolling, rolling. He's not even wearing gloves, zero hecks are given.]
no subject
[Probably because you've never been around snow ever. But at least now he's curious! And yeah you're a freak Meebo]
How do you do it?
no subject
no subject
[Especially with how the snow seems to be sticking to the ball!! How weird]
Need any help?
no subject
[In other words, get over here and be productive, instead of complaining.]
If you roll out the upper body, I can finish the lower part, and then we can work on the head.
no subject
[Yeah no he's still going to complain, but at least he's distracted by now with something to do]
So how do I roll it out?
no subject
[He's still rolling out the bottom part, so he can show Sora directly how it works.]
no subject
[He'll watch Mikleo for a bit to get an idea, then he crouches down to make his own ball. He works slower and more clumsy as he tries to form the ball than Mikleo- since he's wearing mittens and is trying oh so hard not to let any of the snow get into there. Because he does not trust this snow business. At all. But at least he's doing it!!]
no subject
Yeah, just like that. It needs to be about half as big as the one I made, so it fits on top.
[...He's really slow, though, so Mikleo will go ahead and get rolling on the head.]
no subject
Half as big, got it.
[roll roll roll.]
Do ya think this place is always this cold?
no subject
[Which at least means that proper clothing is easy to come by.]
no subject
[Usually Sora tries to be more open minded about new worlds and cultures, but nope this place is too darn cold. But he keeps rolling until it starts to look...close]
Okay, I think that's enough! Do I just put it on the snowman now?
no subject
[He gives the third ball a little nudge with his foot. It's all coming together!]
Though I'm not sure where we'll get the decorations...
no subject
[A grunt and a lift!! Okay so it's not easy, but darn if he's not gonna make sure he pulls his weight. So he makes his way over, and with a heave- he places it on top yay!!]
Decorations? What kind of- [Except unfortunately he forgot the part where you have pack it in, so the moment he got distracted and lets it go, it rolls off onto the ground] - Oh c'mon!
no subject
Harder than it looks, isn't it? Here, we'll pack some snow in to make it stick.
[He leaves the head on the ground for now and helps Sora lift the body up again, showing him how to secure it properly.]
A snowman wouldn't be much of a man at all if it didn't have a face- then it would just be a decorative pillar. Years ago Sorey and I would make little faces in snow I made, since we couldn't do the full thing- small stones or bits of coal from the fire pits as eyes, nose, and a mouth. Sometimes, if we were sneaky, we could borrow Gramps' pipe. I've read that you can give it clothes, too, if you have any to spare that might fit.
no subject
[He appreciates the help, lifting the head back on the body and listening to those instructions]
Really? That's a cute story. [It reminds him of them making faces in the sand out of pebbles, shells and seaweed back home] I dunno if I got any spare clothes, I kinda need them. But maybe there's pebbles and seaweed at the beach nearby!
no subject
[Mothers reassuringly.]
no subject
Just when he was starting to distract himself from the misery that is this planet.]
Gee. Thanks. That's nice of you.
Why are we here again?
no subject
[And you're still grounded, you need adult supervision.]
Anyway, it's important to know how to survive in cold weather. What if we got stranded one day?
no subject
Uh, you'd make snow angels while the rest of us slowly turn into icicles?
no subject
Well, probably. But that's just because you haven't experienced it enough.
