You can check out anytime you'd like.. [Hotel Corona Mingle]

Who: The Fleet!
Broadcast: If you want
Action: Hotel Corona or Planet Ikke
When: December 7th onward

a wheel-shaped space station

[After the mystery and isolation of their last destination, the Marsiva seems determined to head to brighter, busier territory. After a long journey through remote, nebula-painted space, speeding along at a brisk pace for the Host ship, the Marsiva brings her Fleet to a sudden and prominent point of traffic.

It seems that the Fleet has happened upon some sort of vacation destination! Maybe Atroma thinks that the passengers deserve some rest and relaxation... or just wants to distract them with something huge and shiny.

Welcome to Hotel Corona! Feel free to enjoy yourselves and enjoy the sites! If a hotel resort isn't your thing, you can head on over to the nearby planet and explore it's icy wonders.

In order words: it's a mingle!! Everyone get in! ]

Oh, you're from Earth? Like in the old times maybe? That's so cool!

I mean. Las Vegas sounds just a lot like some places in district one or four. Like. Depending on how likely you are to get shanked and get your credits stolen.

In the old times, was it?

[His interest has increased twenty-fold, a-thankyou.]

I must admit, I'm really hoping you'll tell me more about your circumstances.

Um, yeah. Well, like almost everyone from Earth I've talked to--except Jim Kirk and Dr. McCoy--are from like the twentieth or twenty-first century. It was... um. 3163 when I got brought here. So anyway, I just kind of assume most Earth people are from a lot earlier unless they sound really different.

[Oh gosh, someone wants to know about her. Sure, she likes to share, even if it's not really that remarkable in her estimation.] Um. Sure. What would you like to know?

Amazing! I'm from the 2000's, so I've quite a way to go before I'm an old man.

[... He's an old man DON'T LISTEN TO HIM.]

What sort of world is the 3000's, if you don't mind me asking?

[Especially now that the body has been taken and the crowds are dispersing; now is an excellent time for conversation with new faces.]

[That's some weird phrasing.] You don't look that old...?

Um. Well, I know the big differences are that we grow most of our protein, because eating animals is gross and cruel. We have anti grav technology, plasma weapons, advanced artificial biological replacements. Humans travel interstellar distances using skips and jump gates. Most people aren't giant assholes about sexual orientation or gender or any of that stuff any more.

Oh. And we use uterine replicators instead of making women get pregnant because that's really dangerous and medically unnecessary.
