[After the mystery and isolation of their last destination, the Marsiva seems determined to head to brighter, busier territory. After a long journey through remote, nebula-painted space, speeding along at a brisk pace for the Host ship, the Marsiva brings her Fleet to a sudden and prominent point of traffic.

It seems that the Fleet has happened upon some sort of vacation destination! Maybe Atroma thinks that the passengers deserve some rest and relaxation... or just wants to distract them with something huge and shiny.

Welcome to Hotel Corona! Feel free to enjoy yourselves and enjoy the sites! If a hotel resort isn't your thing, you can head on over to the nearby planet and explore it's icy wonders.

I'm not discussing it right now. [Or, hopefully, ever. He raises his eyebrows at her.] Don't you want to find your room?

Kitty, I'm fine. And I have told people. [Or rather, someone was present at the time, which is the same thing as telling people.]

If you really want to know, I will tell you when you haven't had too much to drink and wandered into my room.

[Oh, did you not get that people = Kitty? Silly Erik.]

What do you think I'm going to do drunk and in your room that I'm not going to do sober and not in your room?

It's late at night and I don't want to discuss it.

[At this point, it's mere stubbornness. He is a master in the art.]

I was, in fact, about to go to bed.

[Can you imagine the occasional stubborn headbutting that went on with these two back home? Impressive considering how rarely anyone messed with Magneto.]

Alone? [That was not her inviting herself. Promise] Where's Xavier? [Genuinely confused.]

[exothermia]

[He's confused himself for a moment, before he realises why she's asking: she thinks they still share a room. And more. A strange tightness passes over his expression before he replies shortly.]

In his room. I think it's time for you to go, Kitty.

[passingthrough]

Huh? [Fog of drunkenness is thick! But no, give her a second. Softer.] Oh. Erik... [He lost more than the stability of her and Kurt's admiration with that boost in memories, didn't he? She knew the others were standing beside him, but...maybe not as close as they were.]

[exothermia]

[His patience is abruptly worn out, ground down by being confronted with a topic that no one ever raises with him. Walking past Kitty, he pulls the door open and holds it there. It makes little difference, he knows; Kitty doesn't need the door open to leave the room. But as a gesture, it has force behind it.]

Go home and get some rest.

[passingthrough]

[She looks at him with concern before ducking her head and nodding which she shouldn't do because wow, dizzy. But she pushes through it and walks to the door. At this point it probably is safest not to phase. She pauses in the doorway, unsure what to say if anything.]

[She's not exactly sure for what before she steps into the hall and turns right and then after a moment switches to left.]

[He watches her go, long enough to make sure she doesn't walk straight into another door. Then, he shuts the door, to stew over what just happened.]
