You can check out anytime you'd like.. [Hotel Corona Mingle]
Who: The Fleet!
Broadcast: If you want
Action: Hotel Corona or Planet Ikke
When: December 7th onward

[After the mystery and isolation of their last destination, the Marsiva seems determined to head to brighter, busier territory. After a long journey through remote, nebula-painted space, speeding along at a brisk pace for the Host ship, the Marsiva brings her Fleet to a sudden and prominent point of traffic.
It seems that the Fleet has happened upon some sort of vacation destination! Maybe Atroma thinks that the passengers deserve some rest and relaxation... or just wants to distract them with something huge and shiny.
Welcome to Hotel Corona! Feel free to enjoy yourselves and enjoy the sites! If a hotel resort isn't your thing, you can head on over to the nearby planet and explore it's icy wonders.
In order words: it's a mingle!! Everyone get in! ]

(OOC: I missed having her respond to that point when he brought it up before and it looks like they didn't talk about it when he woke up, so I think this is the first time.)

[He smiles broadly, obviously happy to have his lady wife next to him again.]
[OOC: fine with me!]

It was a pleasant thing to wake up to. [But it makes him feel restless and wary as well. One day he would have to say goodbye. This was not forever.] Thank you. I am quite happy as well.
[It is their second chance on happiness.
Once he has the animal fully on his back and is able to walk properly he turns to look at Kitty.]
Do you know if...if you can get with child here? I mean...women. If they are allowed to carry a child.

And what I want is to hold my son. [Because medieval people of high birth care more about having sons than daughters.] I want to know how it feels...how he looks.
no subject
Does it feel safe? We could be sent away at anytime. What if you woke up one day and the baby was just gone? Or a pregnant Jeyne was gone or they lost you in an instant without even knowing there was danger? [It's not like going off to battle. It's just this looming threat always that you have to put out of your mind if you want to keep going.]
no subject
[He nods to all her suggestions. It does not feel safe and everything here was just temporarily. But every time he asks himself what he wants it comes down to holding his son. His child. His heir.]
It does not. For all those reasons you mention. [He cannot shrug carrying such a large carcass.] I should let it go. [It has never been about what he wants. Not even when he can act the way he wants and be who he wants to be.] Idle dreams.
no subject
[She sighs.] I can't even hug you right now with you like that. [Waves at the dead shark.] Come on, you can put in my shuttle and I can haul it wherever you need.
no subject
You can hug me but I cannot hug you back, alas. Not enough hands.
[After a nod they make way to her shuttle. It would be good to have his hands free again because, to be fair, the creature is heavy.]
We could share the coin... [He nods at the landshark.] ...and buy some red at an inn. Or the hotel. I promise I will not glance at your bosom.
no subject
I make it a point never to hug anyone carrying a carcass. [It's entirely possible this has come up before. But it isn't long before the landshark is secured on a tarp in the shuttle. She's starting the ship up, taking extra measures for a cold departure when she glances over at him for that suggestion.] I'm wearing like fifteen layers of clothing right now. I'd be more impressed if you could. [It's more like three, but they are heavy layers for the conditions.]
no subject
That would be a smelly and messy business. And there are always better moments to embrace one another.
[After they’ve secured the landshark he moves to sit next to Kitty in the shuttle.]
That may be, but I still will not stare at your bosom. [He smiles softly.] It is colder up here than it has been in the North when I left. And that stands for something. We can use something to warm us up.

I am sure we can. I believe they are quite fond of these creatures. Especially when they are dead. [He leans back in the chair and relaxes a little.] We drink a little to celebrate our catch and then go home. I am sure we both have someone waiting for us.
[The smile on his face becomes a little bit more mischievous. Mostly because he is thinking of how naked Jeyne can be at moments like this.]
