Hello. As you may have noticed, we've lost a few crew members of late, especially our first mate, Ms. Amidala. As such, I've applied for the position and I am now the new First Mate for the Heron.
If you have any concerns or issues you would like to deal with, please contact me.
[ With that, he turns it off. ]
[ Action ]
[ He comes on board for the first time since the new hotel arrived. Partly because of his position (and perhaps, he is running away a little). He checks up on the cockpit, engineering and their supplies in the kitchen, deep in thought and making a checklist for things necessary for the ship. ]

Congratulations.

[ There's a pause before he replies. ] Thank you. Is there anything up here you'd like me to bring down?
no subject
[There's another pause.] How many gone?
no subject
no subject
Good. Fuck him.
no subject
I doubt he'll be coming back.
no subject
[He'd been too sick with grief to really push the issue before. But if Hux appeared in the Fleet again, Erik wouldn't hesitate to make his feelings known in a more aggressive manner.]

It's a shame she's gone, but now she can go live her life. [ He doesn't give a rat's ass about the ginger troublemaker. ]
no subject
I'm touched by your support.
Yes, I hope she's fine wherever she is.
no subject
[ He gives it a bit of thought and adds: ] I'm sure she's fine, she's tough as hell.
no subject
Is there any business I should see to while I'm up here?
no subject
no subject
Yes, that would be nice.

[ He shuts off the feed and finishes his walk around before heading into the kitchen. True to his word, Winter shows up brandishing two mugs of hot tea. He sets them down on the nearest flat surface. ]
The ship seems so empty, now.
[ Not that he minds too much about that, though he will miss Padme quite a bit. ]
no subject
Maybe that's just what we need. Some peace and quiet for a while.

New Arrival [Action] - Backdated to Jan 7th, OTA
Actually, she knew this was coming, didn't she? People had mentioned she'd be moved to one of the other ships.
It was honestly a nice chance of scenery after a week of that same boring room.
She looks around to see if there's anyone in her immediate area. ]
no subject
The Heron isn't as impressive as the Marsiva, sure. The common rooms feel bigger than the halls or single rooms, and there's not much they can do about the cold feeling that seems to settle throughout the ship, but it's not so bad.
He's busy making his rounds when he comes across her in the hall. Not someone he's seen in the fleet before, but he had seen her broadcast on the network. Bucky stops a short distance from her, nothing personal, really. ]
Just arrived?
no subject
[ She eyes this new person. Built, a little rugged. Kind of like a taller Varric, but she didn't get the same charming vibe from him. A face that looked perfect for sitting on. ]
no subject
[ Better get used to the captain of few words. At least until he gets to know her a bit more. ]
no subject
[ The bluntness was actually a bit of a welcome after some of the people she'd been chatting with. Not that she wasn't gonna tease him about it, anyway. ]
And who do I have the pleasure of meeting? If you'd prefer, I can just call you Broody Scruffbritches.
no subject
Well, if that gets your interest, you're really going to enjoy the fact that this is a paid kidnapping. [ SEE, HE CAN DO SARCASM, TOO. ]
Winter. I'm the Captain.
no subject
[ Ha. She just got an idea that let her be cheeky and a bit of self-exploratory. ]
Well, Captain. Call me Summer.
no subject
[ Well, he's going to take that name at face value, because names are fucking important. ]
Yours should be at the end of the hall, Summer. If you need anything, let me know.
