I don't think it's like that at all. But you probably speak with more people than I do.

I don't, really. [his mouth quirks briefly] Not recently. I'm not very social.

[Erik merely huffs. It's not a contest, and yet if it were he's certain he'd win the anti-social stakes. Particularly given how tense things can be between himself and Charles lately.]

[he watches Erik for a moment, then pretends like something down the way caught his attention]

Have you been down here to look around?

I've mostly been in the repair shops.

[beathach]

Ah - I haven't really had a chance to. Do they sell anything decent? I heard it was mostly overpriced.

[exothermia]

Yes, because most of it is in bulk. It's possible to hire tools and do repair work yourself - that's cheaper.

[beathach]

That doesn't surprise me. It's always been cheaper to do whatever work yourself - but things in bulk doesn't sound so bad. Maybe I'll go take a look later.

[exothermia]

I haven't looked into it too far yet. I'll see what supplies are needed once the repairs are done.

I'm also hoping to find material to build those sensors.

Mm, that makes sense. If I see anything, I'll pick it up for you.

Mmm. Hopefully it's easy to find here - they're not rare parts, but -

I like to think that they're common enough. It's every day parts, mostly.

You can't claim to know what every species uses every day, Hank.

I highly doubt it'll happen, considering, but who knows - we may end up on another planet who doesn't use technology.

I have no doubt that we will.

[Erik glances back at the hospital, then pushes away from the wall. He's had enough of loitering around this place for one day.]

[Hank gives the hospital one last glance before following Erik]

Are there any cafes around?

[exothermia]

I don't know. I haven't looked.

[beathach]

[he hums a little, looking around]

Might as well. Hospital campuses usually have decent cafes and restaurants nearby - well, they do back home, anyway.

[exothermia]

[Erik lifts one shoulder in a shrug. He doesn't know much about hospitals, since he avoids there where he can.]
