Port/Ship fixing
[Sokka can be found here, working tirelessly getting the Blue Fish back to its former glory. It's not easy work, it got hit hard, after all (wow, they really need a pilot) but he's getting there. Please remind him to sleep, he has no problem stopping to eat, but sleeping? That's another thing entirely. ]
B
[Alternatively, once he's finished work on the Blue Fish, he'll be heading over to other ships, his tools in hand, ready to do more work. Because, hey, not everyone has an engineer on hand. ]
Hey, need some help with your ship?
B
And, somehow, staring at the damage on the hull of the ship made him feel both like he could maybe have some miraculous epiphany about the damage and how to fix it and also reminded him of exactly how out-of-his-element he was.
Well, mostly, some things, thankfully, were just a matter of bending the metal torn up from the side back down and welding it into place and, even if it wasn't his specialty, fire magic was a fairly decent tool for that.
Sokka's arrival startled Anders out of his contemplation of his recent 'repair' attempt, mustering a small smile from the healer.]
If you're offering then, please, by all means. Maker knows no one aboard this ship knows what he's doing with this.

Shops and Parks
[She wasn't a hundred percent sure she knew what they needed, but she knew what was good to have during travel and she used that as her measure. Luckily, the Paisley's repair work wasn't as bad as others and she knew her crew would be taking care of it, the least she could do was re-supply them.
Lark went from shop to shop, stocking up on necessities from medical to food to even a couple of bulk purchases of what sheap alcohol she could find. Definitely a necessity. She also bought what fabrics and leathers she could find (not a whole lot, to her disappointment) but anything to make clothes or packs or whatever else they might need now. Creators knew the options available to buy were not only over-priced but also garrish.
However in one such clothing shop, something had caught her attention and now she was left admiring it as she turned it over in her hands. She shouldn't, it was useless and frivolous, nothing she needed...but she did like it...]
Parks
[These parks were pathetic, an overly-large nobleman's garden full of living things that were held in check by their care takers. This wasn't wildlife and it hardly felt like nature without how store-bought it seemed.
And yet, it was something green and growing and that meant it put her at ease despite herself. That combined with the fact she really could use the extra money now that she'd done her shopping and the ship was being fixed, Lark offered her services up for the maintainance of this place's parks. She could care for the plants and earn money at the same time, it seemed a good enough deal.
And if she maybe didn't trim something more than it needed to be healthy or left a weed or two in place, then who would notice?
And at the end of her days on Solace? She could sit up in the small trees and stare out at the endless sky. Up there, she could forget troubles or pale imitations below, for a few hours, it could just be the tree and the sky.]
Kubo
[ After the pirates left and clean up started taking place on the ships, Kubo was keen on getting away. So he does his duties as ship cook before heading down to the planet. Normally, this is how his day starts. Taking care of his mother, spending a few moments with her before heading down to the village.
That routine is empty now and Kubo finds there are large patches of time where he doesn't know what to do with himself. So when he finds himself on the park, swinging his legs on the bench, the silence settles on him heavily. With a sigh, he picks up the shamisen, letting his thoughts and feelings drift to the strings. A tune comes to mind as he plays on, one eye closed.
And if the crowd comes, Kubo doesn't notice them. ]
[ b: back to the future (with hoverboards) ]
[ Kubo had his face pressed up to the glass as he watched the demonstrations of the hoverboards with undisguised awe. He'd never have enough money for them, but maybe with his magic, he could imitate them . . . in time.
Until them, he keeps his face peeled to the action. ]
B
[Sora doesn't know this kid, but he that doesn't mean he has any problem approaching him and chatting with him. Sora's also looking at awe with the hoverboard. Because seriously, it looks like the most awesome thing ever.]

So he escaped and found his way to Solace, and then to this park. The sound of familiar music floats through the air and he follows it, watching silently at the edges. When he realizes that Kubo, because he's fairly certain this is the boy he spoke to before, isn't noticing anyone coming or going, he approaches and kneels down in front of him, knees to his chest.
He listens until the end of the song, resting his head on his knees, and then he speaks.]
Music is always so much better in person.

What she can do is contribute with money. She turned her blades on the raiders, and she'll make money with the other skills at her disposal. She vanishes from the Windrose early on, though she'll let crew know she's going on shore leave, so to speak. Offers her skill as a shamisen player and singer in the bars; busks for money in the parks. She can be found in either place late afternoon. And when night falls, she employs skills of another kind entirely.
If you wish to walk the path of the sword, then all the more so...
She's killed a great many people of late.]

Sora
[The attacks were horrible, but Sora was always the type to either bounce back quickly, or at least get distracted quickly. When he sees that they're being pulled into a city in the clouds? His nose is practically pressed against the glass. And the moment they dock, he's bouncing off the ship with excitement, heading over to the edges to look at everything below]
Wow, check it out...!
[B. Hoverboards]
[It's not too long in this place before he hears the mention of hoverboards. When he goes to check them out, it's to his absolute delight. Being grounded during the hotel meant he had a good amount of money saved, so he rents one as soon as he can.
After that? He can be found whizzing around practically everywhere, having the time of his life as he flies around the streets, tries to learn tricks and even challenge locals to races. Join in the fun or try not to get hit by him]
[C. Huntress Repairs]
[But alas it's not all fun and games. The Huntress is badly damaged, so of course he has to pull his own weight to help out. He can be usually found repairing parts both inside and out (for some reason, he's very good at climbing to the top of the ship). The quality of work he does is....well, it's functional at least. Not at all pretty, but at least it'll probably help it fly again.
Probably.]

Ravi
[Ravi spends a lot of time around the Three Twins, mostly looking perplexed at it's sad state and attempting to do something helpful in patching it up. Generally he defers to whoever they've managed to rope into helping them with repairs, whether it's friends or locals.]
[B. Parks]
[Of course repairs are expensive when you need new parts, so Ravi's spending some time in the local parks doing maintenance tasks like sweeping pathways, emptying garbages, fighting off local wildlife, etc. Dignity is not the name of the game, but at least he's earning some cash!]

Erik Lehnsherr
[Erik spends some time in the ship servicing district, working to pull together parts for the Heron's few bits of damage. He alternates between scouring the blast marks off the hull, and hauling new gear into the cargo bay. At other times he might be propositioned into working on other ships - anyone asking for an engineer's assistance will find him willing to help.
b. hospital
[Every couple of days or so, Erik can be found entering one of the hospitals, though he's quick and quiet about it. When he emerges he looks a bit more tense, distracted, as he rubs absently at his wrists.]
c. parks
[Erik visits the parks at night, rather than in the day. He finds it more pleasant under the stars. He lingers near the flower beds, sometimes crouched next to them and examining the flowers with interest. Other times he leans against a guard rail and stares out over the endless expanse of clouds below the city.]
b, backdated to the 18th
It's safe to say that he arrives early, hands shoved in his pockets and finds somewhere to wait]

Gemini -OTA
[The Bishop had suffered only slight damage in the attack and even if repairs were needed Gemini's not of a mind to help, even if she was fixing things isn't her speciality, she's much better at breaking things. Speaking of which, that's why she's hanging around in a not-so-concealed corner near a particular shuttle bay in a form that's certainly not her own, waiting for her target to return. She's been rather looking forward to this.
When she spots him she immediately leans in toward the handsome dark haired man next to her, giggling as if he's said something incredibly funny and she's really quite excited by his attention, using the exact same laugh that should be intimately familiar to her mark, even as the man plants a hand on her ass, giving it a good firm squeeze and using the grip to pull her closer, his other hand stroking her golden locks. 'Jeyne's clearly not resisting him as their lips draw close...]
B) The Hoverboard Crowd
[Flying's one of Gemini's favourite pastimes, so it's no surprise that she's rented a hoverboard shortly after arriving to test it out. It's interesting but she much prefers flying under her own power, so she soon abandons the board and takes to wing, assuming a larger version of a form she's been itching to try out on a larger scale. For a time she just enjoys herself, enjoying the feel of the wind over wind and scale, until she spots you on a hoverboard and if a dragon can smile this one certainly is.
Her approach is quiet until she suddenly bursts out of a cloud with an ear-splitting roar, a huge maw of teeth gaping wide, rushing right at you. She can't actually breathe fire or even do much harm to you thanks to the Augment, but that's not going to stop her having fun chasing you for a bit.]
C) Wildcard
[Gemini might be found wandering about the city as herself, not hiding in the slightest. Perhaps she's out shopping, looking for a gadget that's not so useless as the others to her, or maybe she's on her way back to that big apartment with the rich owner that she's killed just to use his home as hers for the time the fleet's here, it's up to you.]
no subject
The thought disappears immediately when he sees her, giggling and leaning close to another man. At first he thinks his mind is paying some sort of trick on him. Then he thinks that the lords of Atroma are playing a trick on him but when she hears her laugh, a sound so familiar and, most of all, his he freezes.
It takes him quite a long time before his muscles are moving again and in three large steps he is with her and within the blink of an eye his hand is around her arm, yanking her away.]
If you will excuse me, I have to speak to my lady wife.
[He is angry and it shows.]
I pray to the gods you have a very good explanation for such behaviour. Madness, mayhaps? Some sort of bloody space illness that turns a you into a lewd, lustful creature?

Kitty Pryde | OTA
[Kitty spends her days doing cashier work in a shop of spare parts. It means a slight discount on anything she buys for the ships and money to buy it with. Even though she got a big boost of ratings money after the attack she wants to be able to help out the ships that can't afford the work they need. They were attacked as a fleet, they'll repair as a fleet. When she's not making change and generally being extremely board by her temporary chosen profession she may be poking around all the shops seeing if there is anything that would help in upcoming battles. The attack certainly changed her outlook on things.]
[Hoverboarding]
[Okay, even with everything going on, what is she going to do? NOT hoverboard? Please. You know what's better that hoverboarding around? Phasing yourself and your hoverboard through things as you go. See a girl burst through a wall! No big deal!]

Really? I'll never need to replace them? [Sorey seems to be buying into this sales pitch for a crate of rather dubious-looking 'titanium-4' clamps that are probably more aluminum than titanium anything. He's not being bought in by any big words or scientific explanations, no. No, what he's buying is-]
I'd never lie, especially after hearing about your situation. I'm a good, honest Jeridan. Here- I'm a father of four. Want to see my kids? Take a look.
Oh, they're...adorable? [they are, right????]
b. no smoking near this establishment - CLOSED to Mikleo, Allen and Clay
Mikleo, I don't need to take a break. I just took a break a little while ago! [like only eight hours ago] You don't have to drag me...
B!!!!
Yeah, Mikleo's gonna keep dragging him. It probably looks weird to any and all onlookers, but the amount of care he gives to that is in the negative right now.]
You do need a break, and you're taking one whether you like it or not. I've been hearing your stomach growl for at least an hour now. The ship can wait- you need food.

The Hospitals/Healing
But it only took one place giving him a chance to get his foot in the door and, when they did, he made sure they didn't regret it. He left early and came home late, no different from his years in Kirkwall healing the poor of Darktown, except now things could be cleaned and sterilized and there were others who could help him, allowing his mana to go further and more and more people were able to walk out perfectly fine instead of simply mending. That was a good feeling. That was why he'd become a healer in the first place, nearly twenty years ago.
The pay was a helpful bonus, one that largely went towards the ship's repairs.
But Anders kept busy, meeting every patient he could to cure their colds or sew up their torn bodies, it was likely the least their fleet could offer when a large rush of patients had come from them docking in the first place.]
