[He's certain it's not that uncommon, but he stays out of such things unless it's directly of use to him. Crossing his arms, he leans back against the wall.]

I'm sure you and Charles compare notes.

[he shrugs a shoulder, shoving his hands in his pockets] On some things, sure. I share notes with a couple of people on the fleet.

Mm, well - it's a lot like Kyriakos in that respect. People keeping track of everything and comparing notes when they get together.

[He shakes his head.]

I don't think it's like that at all. But you probably speak with more people than I do.

I don't, really. [his mouth quirks briefly] Not recently. I'm not very social.

[Erik merely huffs. It's not a contest, and yet if it were he's certain he'd win the anti-social stakes. Particularly given how tense things can be between himself and Charles lately.]

Have you been down here to look around?

I've mostly been in the repair shops.

Ah - I haven't really had a chance to. Do they sell anything decent? I heard it was mostly overpriced.

[exothermia]

Yes, because most of it is in bulk. It's possible to hire tools and do repair work yourself - that's cheaper.

[beathach]

That doesn't surprise me. It's always been cheaper to do whatever work yourself - but things in bulk doesn't sound so bad. Maybe I'll go take a look later.

[exothermia]

I haven't looked into it too far yet. I'll see what supplies are needed once the repairs are done.

I'm also hoping to find material to build those sensors.

Mm, that makes sense. If I see anything, I'll pick it up for you.

I like to think that they're common enough. It's every day parts, mostly.

I highly doubt it'll happen, considering, but who knows - we may end up on another planet who doesn't use technology.
