[When this video starts, Felix is standing over two boxes stacked on top of one another. The top one is open, and he's pulling....books? out of it.]

If anything was going to convince me that these sponsor drops are pointless, it would be this. Our fleet is attacked, and this is what someone thinks to send?

[He glances at a title, frowns, and then holds it up to the camera. Dating Advice from a Manwhore: A Guide to Overcoming Self-Doubt, Relationship Struggles, and Finding Your Authentic Self. After a second, he puts it down, and takes out another one: It's Just a F***ing Date: Some Sort of Book About Dating.]

I'm really not sure what to make of this particular interest in my dating life.

[Or lack thereof, but he doesn't need a man, thanks.]

Anyway. There's more where these came from and I sure as hell don't need them. If anyone's interested, let me know. You can contact me privately too. Just in case, you know, you feel the need for privacy.

[He pulls another book out of the box at the same time that he goes to end the video and...looks vaguely surprised and confused for a second. Just before the video cuts out, there's an image of a different kind of book on the screen.]

We're the entertainment around here—that's the whole idea, isn't it? Everyone likes a good love story. Apparently.

That's the idea, sure.

He shrugs.]

Apparently. But there are actual existing love stories in progress. Although I guess the idea of the "difficult" love story would be appealing to some people.

I'm sure those have their fans too, but it takes all kinds. Will they or won't always creates dramatic tension, doesn't it?

It does...although in this case, there isn't any "they".

[Even if someone clearly thinks there is.]

If there's not a they, then there's someone who thinks there should be.

All depends on the amount of work you want to put into it. Not always that hard.

I don't know, it sounded like you had past experience, that would make you more interesting by default.

But sure, I get it.

[He'll back off. With disappointment.]

Not sure in situations like this, experience makes you more interesting. At least not to some people.

Bored people, I think. Mostly. And people who like seeing people out of their comfort zones.

I guess more experience does lessen the potential for embarrassment. You've got a point.

I don't know that it all comes from a desire to see someone humiliated. A lot of it, but not all.
