[The broadcast goes out on 3/10, and Dorian smirks a bit into the feed.]

I believe I've secured lodging for myself, with room enough for several others. If you need a place to stay, do let me know. It's a quaint little villa a bit outside of town. ...please don't mind the suspicious glances, I assure you, I've done nothing entirely against the guidelines that were set.

Action:

[Dorian has secured a villa, but the residents of Mor don't seem too keen on having an evil mage for a neighbor. As the month goes on, more and more villagers will show up to stand at the gates of the villa and threaten to come in after the "evil wizard".

Maybe he shouldn't have gone so overboard with the whole "contacting the spirits of the dead" thing.]

[ Solas shakes his head, slow and careful. ]

Just because you have the means does not mean I should take advantage of it. The basics will do until I have something of my own, lethallan.

[ He smiles, bowing his head a little, gentle. ]

[Her lips purse like she's about to argue, but instead Jove just sighs and nods. She'll accept it for now, but later she's going to come back and buy one of each and every color that Solas hasn't picked. He should have the best, after all.]

If you say so. You'll only have yourself to blame when we're in the middle of nowhere and all you've got left is some charcoal.

[She's teasing him again because it's just too easy to fall into that habit, hand still resting delicately on his shoulder. She really should remove that, shouldn't she?]

[ He turns his head away, a little amused at her frustration. He's not a worldly man and he'd make his own if he had the materials, but, sadly... He doesn't. ]

I'm sure I'll manage somehow, lethallan. I'll simply sketch.

[ And he teases back, nudging against her, because it's easy. ]

[Now her lips twist in a reflection of his amusement and she nudges him right back, pleased by how easy gestures of affection like this are between them. She's glad beyond words they were able to become this close at all, let alone so fast, and as she turns back to the stall she reaches out to select one of the larger sketchbooks to put it with their other purchases.]

You'll need that, then.

[ Solas just watches her, a little exasperated before he steps close, his fingers brushing hers, almost tender. ]

I will repay you, lethallan.

[How is he so tall, elves aren't supposed to be this tall. She's just a touch flustered with him that close because it wasn't as though there was a lot of space between them before, but she finds quickly that she certainly doesn't mind the even closer proximity.]

Of course you will. I'm looking forward to how beautiful my room will be when you've finished with it.

[ He smiles, nodding his head with a soft bow, almost, of his waist before he turns back to look at the paints and the poor voyeur shopkeeper. ]

I will make it the most beautiful room in the fleet.

[Poor voyeur shopkeeper nothing, there are probably people watching this right now who would kill to take his place, for one reason or another.

Jove is smiling to herself as she draws away from Solas, a little regretful that she has to in order to pay for the small selection of painting supplies.]

I don't doubt it. Your room was one of my favorites to spend time in, you know.

[ He is careful to watch how much she spends so that he might pay her back at a later date, when he has money of his own. ]

I'm glad to hear it. I did my best to depict events as they were, but with beauty.

Much of what we went through wasn't pretty, so it must have been a struggle to find the beauty in those times. You're very skilled, Solas.

[After the shopkeeper packs everything into a wooden crate, Jove takes it upon herself to pick it up for the walk back. It's a present, after all, and it isn't as though the box is particularly heavy.]

Are you ready to head back, or should we browse to be sure there isn't anything else you need that isn't painting supplies?
