[The broadcast goes out on 3/10, and Dorian smirks a bit into the feed.]

I believe I've secured lodging for myself, with room enough for several others. If you need a place to stay, do let me know. It's a quaint little villa a bit outside of town. ...please don't mind the suspicious glances, I assure you, I've done nothing entirely against the guidelines that were set.

[Dorian has secured a villa, but the residents of Mor don't seem too keen on having an evil mage for a neighbor. As the month goes on, more and more villagers will show up to stand at the gates of the villa and threaten to come in after the "evil wizard".

Maybe he shouldn't have gone so overboard with the whole "contacting the spirits of the dead" thing.]

I doubt we will have much time here to help them rebuild. Sometimes it is best to cut the chains quickly, let them learn for themselves.

[An annoyed scoff here. ]

Of course not. But rash, extreme actions that we cannot see through are unwise and cruel. Innocents would be harmed regardless of intent.

[Cullen's touched on a rather...sore subject, Fenris slams his fist onto the table, his lyrium flickering into life. ~~Please don't lick him~~ ]

Getting people out of a mess like this is nothing like blowing up a chantry.

[The anger he expects, but the noise--and then the lyrium--he does not. It makes something deep within him itch, and he has to scrub his hand over his face and step back. He can handle being near lyrium, has been near the stores in Skyhold often enough, but it's been... quite some time.]

[Fenris mistakes Cullen's reaction for frustration, and his eyes narrow. ]

No. It wouldn't be. They would be free and not dead.

[There's a good chance at least half of this is about him. ]

[She could probably ignore the sound of fists being slammed into things as she passed on by, but that flash of lyrium had Jove turning on her heel to come right back. If Fenris was feeling angry enough to express himself in that way, it was bad enough. That Cullen was the one to have to deal with it? That made it worse. There's really no way she can't step in now.]

And here I thought I was the only one after a midnight snack.

[She passes between them, but reaches out to lightly pat Fenris' hand as she goes.]

You'll wake the whole house that way.

[This just went from bad to worse. Cullen turns away entirely, hand running over his face once more.]

Jove.

[The most strained greeting.]

[He turns his head to the sound of her voice, diffusing his anger somewhat. Or at least, distracting him from it. At her touch, the lyrium fizzles out as if it were a candle,and he jerks his hand away, shoulders tense. He's come to enjoy her company, but she's not quite there yet.

He scowls, staring a hole into the table. ]

I am sure they will live.

I would hope so. This house somehow became the most sane place on this entire planet, I'd hate to see that ruined.

[Hint motherfucking hint. There's a bowl of fruit on a counter and Jove selects an apple from it, rolls it across the table to Fenris so it stops in his line of sight. She didn't forget you like those, bro.

Cullen isn't looking at her, which is... well, expected, but at least he didn't call her Inquisitor. She'd like to put a hand on his shoulder, but it wouldn't exactly look right all things considered, so she claims an apple for herself and takes a bite, leaning on the counter as she looks between the two men. We good here?]

[Oh, he wanted to. Cullen just busies himself with his bread and jam, trying very much to ignore the sudden dryness in his mouth.]

[Fenris glares at the apple, as if it were about to kick him in the face. He heaves out an annoyed sigh, picking it up. ]

I was leaving, anyway.

[He turns off towards the door, to so stalk off to his ~~cavern of solitude~~ room.]

[Jove isn't about to stop him, not when all of that could have gone so much worse.]

Good night, Fenris. I hope you sleep well.

[Yeah, he'll just keep his mouth shut over here.]

[Bye guys, bye. He gives a grunt which could be considered a goodnight to Jove, and off he's goes. ]

[The grunt is something, considering he could have both left the apple and ignored her completely, but it's something Jove will have to give thought to later. Once Fenris has gone, she sighs and rubs at her temple.]

Well, that was exciting. And they say night is the boring time.

[And now that it's just them, she does reach out to lay a hand on Cullen's arm.]

Are you alright?

I'm fine.

[So fine he's just going to finish putting his bread on a plate. At least his hands aren't trembling as he feared they might.]

[She doesn't want to push him either, but it's different with Cullen. Cullen is hers, from her own world, and it's not an obligation to look out for him so much as it is something that just feels right.]

I hope so. I'll need you in top form when we start our swimming lessons, I can't imagine drowning is any fun at all.

Indeed. You should get your rest. We can start tomorrow, if you'd like.

Of course. I'll come find you around noon, then?

[He nods, taking up his plate. He'll go... eat this somewhere else that's not his bed because ew crumbs.]
