[ he has to try something, okay. he wraps an arm around her and keeps walking, now at normal speed towards the lecture hall. he stops in front of the door. ]

Ladies first - [ gesturing for her to open it. when she will, the lights will be on inside, and the projection stats instantly with a puppet warm-up. both teams have a mix of male and female players, and some even bearing some less than human characteristics, most notable is the blue cubs player.

across from the screen are the bleachers, and to the side, since he had two super speeding helpers, is a food cart with a little hot plate where he can prepare seafood hot dogs. no real mustard, alas, but he tried his best. ]

[It's a good thing he gestured because you know your girl's first instinct isn't to open doors to get into places.] What? [Gazing around at everything in awe and reaching back for his hand.]

[ giving her hand a little squeeze, he kicks the door shut behind them. look, the door needed to be opened for everything to start up in the right time, okay, he can't program it to react to a phasing, not in that little time with these little resources. ]

Come on, we got the best seats in the house. [ gently leading her towards the bleachers. ]

I love. [She kisses again but then turns her eyes to the projection.] It's so cute. [Snuggling up to him.] I can't believe you did all this. [Even getting Kara and Mon-El involved.]

[ cuddling her close. ]

[ teasing, but he can't really stop smiling. he's just so happy to see her happy. on the screen, the puppets continue their warm up. ]

[ he kisses her as the puppets line up as steve's voice asks them to stand for the national anthem ]

Oh - it's gonna start - [ he stands up and pulls her up with him, as the puppets sing in familiar voices; several recordings of him and kara singing in different voices. ]

[She actually glances back as if expecting to see Steve.] You asked Captain America to be the announcer? [She can't wait for a response though. There is singing and awesomeness and she's starting to cry. Happy tears!]

[ he sings along with the recording and when it's done, presses a kiss to her cheek ]

It's the national pastime, right, who better? [ that, and he knows how much he means to her. it's mostly the other reason. and the fact that he's a nice guy who was happy to help. he sits back down and applauds as the game starts. ]
