Kitty Pryde | OTA
[Kitty works out regularly, training with and without powers so sometimes when she gives the punching bag a powerful hit and it swings back you might just see it swing back through her harmlessly. Or she might be doing some acrobatic maneuvers only to land mid-air. But the thing she's been working on most diligently is being able to have part of herself phased and part solid. She never thought it was possible when she was younger, but with greater control of her powers she's been able to pull it off. So, you may see her looking very focused almost as if she's meditating with one hand resting flat on a board and the other one fisted against it.]
[Dance Studio]
[Kitty is sweeping up after all the work that's been put into the dance studio. She managed to get a lot done while she was trying to distract herself from Winn's coma. And now there isn't much left to do but announce it and use it. The nerves decided on now to catch up with her.]
[Library]
[She donated a large stack of books from the ring world before she'd read them all, so it's exciting to head into the science section and find new things even if she put them some of them there. You know, she might even stray from science and try something crazy. Maybe even a novel? What are these other shelves all about?]
[Wildcard]
[Anywhere you want her!]

it's not the most imaginative of breakfasts, but there is a smiley face on the pancakes.
putting down the tray he carefully and quietly sneaks to the side of the bed, rests his head close to his sleeping girlfriend's ear, and sings ]
Happy anniversary to us, happy anniversary to us,

Mon-El | OTA
[Mon-El is the Space Bar's newest bartender, enjoying part-time, flexible hours to better serve you drinks and smiles! He's also watched shows that indicate people are supposed to tell their problems to bartenders, so he's ready. Come at him, bros!]
[Library]
[Did you take Mon-El for a big reader? Well, he's usually not, but he has been finding books more and more useful for learning about Earth customs and for instructions on how to do things he never really partook in on Daxam especially with less available television here. Of course, not all these books will lead him to helpful or earthly information, but he's here to look through them. You might find him with a cooking book or a self help book or maybe he's wandered into some misleading fiction. You might want to help or set him up for failure. You can't really go wrong either way.]
[Gym]
[When he works out, it's usually with Kara, but he does occasionally go by himself and now he's very careful about only hitting things that have been designed for people of enhanced strength. You might also see him blur across the room at super speed.]

nancy wheeler. ota.
she'd be frequenting both the firing range and the gym during the early hours of the morning. dressed in a jumpsuit, hair pulled back and a single golden necklace of two ballet slippers, she'd spend her time practicing her control of the pistols and the laser guns as well as working on getting in better shape.
she was never really terrible at sports but it was never a prime interest, either. here, however, she runs and uses the sandbag, taking out endless frustrations ( barb, barb, home, the monster, the memories, the nightmares - the upside down ) on it until her muscles are sore.
and then, sometimes, when those get a bit too much, she retreats to the prayer room and it's there, only there when she clutches a few photos between her fingers and allows herself to cry. ]
Sorry this is so late.
[She let her be for a bit, moving to go through a bunch of her forms, until it seemed like Nancy was between activities before she approached, offering her a small smile.]

His family didn't really go to church when he was younger, and the few churches they holed up in along the way weren't really seen as a safe place, more of a temporary shelter until dawn broke. Father Gabriel was with them back home, now, but Carl's not really sure how faithful he can be.
A noise catches his attention as he's peeking in to get a look and he spots Nancy sitting by herself, holding something and crying. He doesn't like it when people are sad, even though it happens often enough. He wants to do something so she at least doesn't have to do it alone. Carl tries to stay quiet, moving so he can sit nearby and not startle her too much. ]

[After training against aliens and advanced Altean technology, Shiro isn't sure if he should go back to a regular gym, considering his metal arm. When was the last time he was in one anyway? It feels like forever ago. However, he keeps hearing things about this gym, how it's been made for people with powers. Could this really be a solution to burn some frustration?
He feels the sandbag for a moment before hitting it with his (well wrapped) human hand. Not bad. A metal punch comes next, lightly. A second try, stronger. And another one stronger, and stronger... Shiro gets into it, even reaching the point where he activates his arm to hit the bag all nice and purple.
And the bag takes it like a pro.
Shiro smiles, already sweating a bit, probably because even while training he wears long sleeves and a closed neck.] This is perfect.

[He doesn't have any pets, but he's here for another reason.]
...it's real snow.
[Or it feels like it anyway. It's been so long! He doesn't waste time crouching and touching the snow with his human hand, smiling at the cold, rubbing the flakes between his fingers. Before he even realizes what he's doing, a snowball is formed and with some grass and rocks a snow rabbit appears.]

Erik Lehnsherr | OTA
[Erik hasn't been back here in a while; not since Wrath left. He had inherited her paints and plans, but hadn't found the heart to return to it in the time in between. Now that it's been a few weeks, and he's past the oil-induced fever from the water planet, he decides to go again.
He can be found working on the mural a few days a week, painting new lines onto it while referring to the sketched out notes he has nearby. He's quite focused on his work, so anyone checking in might need to raise their voice to get his attention.]
b. gym
[It's been even longer since he consistently trained. In an effort to dust off the cobwebs, Erik goes every morning now, working on the punching bag and doing some stand-alone work. It's going to take him some time to get back up to speed.]

But he doesn't stay that way.
A few hours later, he sends Charles a message: Meet me in the library. They haven't crossed paths yet today, so he made his preparations before sending the message.
He's waiting in the library now, a table in the corner corralled for their use, and a tray of items sitting there.]

Pavel Chekov | OTA
[Since Chekov has no idea what to do with himself on the Iskaulit--or anywhere else, honestly--he goes to the library with the intention of reading every piece of nonfiction he can get his hands on, as one does when one wants to be useful and does not know how to best go about doing that. Learning everything seems like a solid place to start.]
[Gym]
[Since Chekov continues to have no idea what to do with himself and can't sit still and read indefinitely, he visits the gym. Long-distance running is the only physical activity that he's ever been good at, but he is a Starfleet officer who finds himself in peril on a regular basis. Peril has a way of making a person appreciate a certain amount of fitness. Also? Beating up a punching bag is more therapeutic than he thought it'd be.]
[Space Bar and/or Málum]
[There is a point (or several) where Chekov gives up on being productive and takes it upon himself to check out the bars. Do either of them have space vodka? Scotch? Does anyone want to hear about the Russian origins of scotch?]

Billy Cranston | ota
[For his first endeavor, Billy chooses the familiar surroundings of a library. The selection isn't entirely what he's looking for, but it'll do.
He lingers here for a while, taking note of anything that might be remotely useful in this bizarre new life---they're tiny scribbles to maximize the amount of page he has, almost like he's trying to write on a grain of rice.]
Gym
[Billy trains here for a long time---katas flow into flips and handsprings, rolls spring up into assaults on the punching bag, and when he inevitably slips up he starts from the top. The world isn't going to be any less dangerous just because he lacks his superpowers, so he pushes himself harder to compensate. By the time he finally reaches his breaking point, he's a boneless heap on the mat. He'll move...eventually.]
wildcard
[He's still rather new and nervous, but he'll wave to anyone he passes in the hallways. He really doesn't need to make any more poor first impressions.]

John Laurens | OTA
[John has a hell of a lot of catching up to do. Sure, the implant offsets some of that, but even so, there's been all sorts of changes since 1782. He's most excited to read about the United States, if he can get his hands on a history book or two. Okay, and also to find out more Interesting Science Facts, he always loves those. He'd probably stay in the library for days if he could, but he's trying, mostly, to divide his time between there and getting used to things aboard the Bishop. Electricity's still a new and fascinating concept, alright.]
[Space Bar]
[Bars! Bars are great, in John's opinion; specifically great when he hasn't had the chance to properly hang around one in months. Fighting a slowly-winding-down war in South Carolina will do that to you. When he's not at the library or aboard the Bishop he can reliably be found there. He's found they're usually good places to meet people, and John's never one to say no to new friends. So, if you should be in the mood for company -- and probably answering questions about the future-- do come find him. He hates drinking alone when he's in a good mood.]

Natasha Romanoff | OTA
[Probably Natasha shouldn't be so predictable, but especially during drift weeks, it's nice to fall into a certain routine. Stretching. Working out. Sparring. She can be found here every day, usually in the morning.
And while she's not here to socialize, that doesn't mean she ignores other people who might be around. They're about the only thing that shakes up the sameness.]
Shooting Range
[The other part of the routine, later in the day. Natasha is somewhat less outgoing in this environment, at least usually, coming in, going through the familiar steps of maintenance and safety. The shooting is almost an after thought.
Almost.]
Wildcard
[Or something else?]
Shooting Range
He can focus and try to get rid of the bad thoughts. Carl's only a little disappointed that he's not alone, but man, she's good. It doesn't even look like she's trying and she's hitting the mark every time. ]

Kaidan Alenko | OTA
[While there's room for exercise on his ship, Kaidan comes here more often than not to keep up with his mundane training - a simple cycle of push-ups, sprints, and time at the punching bag. It's clear he's not a martial artist, but he has a decent arm nevertheless, and his focus is narrowed in on whatever he's do and far less anyone that might be watching.]
OBSTACLE COURSE
[Infrequently, however, he comes here for a different routine. The course he sets up isn't terribly punishing, but a decent enough simulation for the kind of dodging and vaulting over obstacles he'd do in pretty much any combat zone. This isn't all that out of the ordinary. He doesn't even bother with the weapons. However, he does use those tennis ball launchers. He dodges them most of the time, but other times, when he isn't fast enough on his feet, he deflects when with a well-times biotic pulse.
After a few times up and down the room he switches to endurance and control. The random obstacles become excellent targets for levitating. He stands still, wreathed in blue light and frowning slightly in concentration, as he gently picks up and moves platforms and boxes. You might find him putting the final touch on a tall stack of these, like overgrown building blocks.]
SPACE BAR
[Kaidan always has an appetite, especially after working out, and after his first visit, he's almost become a regular. Today he's settling down, obviously weary, with a beer and plate of cheesy breadsticks, or something of that nature. He might be willing to share, if you ask nicely]
