[Vash may be a bit upset to have seen all of his old crew go. Mostly because they actually don't know for sure if those who leave actually go home or not.

But was he going to let those worries show to his new crew? Not a chance. Vash is nothing but smiles as he seeks out the new members to welcome.] HEY THERE! Welcome aboard the Twin Roses! [Hopefully a rather hyper, 5'10 tall (not counting the gravity denying hair), man dressed in a red, leather duster who is coming up to shake your hand isn't too much to take in.] I'm Vash! One of the captains here! Great to meet you!

[If that's too much "in your face" Vash will also be found in the plant room. Just because Anders has gone doesn't mean he's going to let the garden die. Making sure they have plenty of water and tending to as is needed for them.

Or you may find him in the pilot's area. Updating the maps and books he's been trying to keep relating to the places the fleet has visited since the start of this cycle.]

[Chuuya is slightly taken aback by Vash's great big energy (and his height with that hair... At 5'3" that's comparably almost A Lot), but shakes his hand in return with a confident smile.]

No need to worry about the captain bit. Just Vash is fine. [Already giving off a: I'm a cool parent kind of vibe.]

Me or Kitty. She's the other captain on board. It's good to have you as part of our crew, Chuuya. [And Vash's smile makes it look like he is honestly happy to have more people around.]

[He is a little surprised Vash would go without the "Captain," if only because he would be all about it. He liked fancy titles like that.

Being kidnapped in space and being told you're on a reality television show drifting from planet to planet seems like a piece of cake?

Well, if you come from a life of danger hopefully this place won't be so bad. I mean, besides the whole kidnapping and not being allowed to go where you want to this place isn't so bad.

Get to meet all sorts of people. See all sorts of different places. Try all sorts of different food. I've heard of worse prisons.

I suppose most people consider a kidnapping at its basic core being dragged somewhere without permission or consent and not being allowed to leave again.

But! If it's a holiday to you then it's a holiday! [Vash is nothing but smiles, but oh God, what kind of life has this guy lead? Maybe he was from Gunsmoke? Naw, didn't look like the name Vash registered. Unless this guy is a really good bounty hunter.]

Ha! People are truly spineless! [Hands on his hips and a haughty look.] Can't even be a little grateful to not have their lives on the line! That's the kind of kidnapping they should complain about! This just isn't comparable!

Hey! Don't look at me. This trip hasn't been half bad to me. I'm grateful that if I had to wake up some place I didn't fall asleep in that it's an interstellar road trip.

But, I just can't really fault people for not being exactly thrilled to be forced here.

Don't misunderstand; I'm not thrilled about having to restart my life from the very bottom when I had such a good thing going back home. But, like I said, this place should be a piece of cake.

[He holds out an index finger a Vash.]
