[Sora spent a grand total of five minutes exploring the planet's wild before he came across a group of bats and decided you know what? It's better to stay on the ship!!!! Sure he probably goes out into the city areas sometimes, but otherwise? He's staying on the ship unless someone goes with him.

So, he's easy to find in the cargo bay, playing fetch with his Shinx. Which yeah, most of the time? He looks crazy bored. ]

[Surprise ghost visit, kiddo!! More specifically, Mikleo's doing a proper once-over of the ship since hey, he's been out for weeks. He'd like to make sure the ship isn't falling apart more than it already was.]

Sora? What're you doing here?

Mikleo?

[His head jerks to attention when he hears that voice. When he sees who it is, there's a big grin]

Hey! You're awake!

[nerdeology]

Looks that way.

[This would be a pretty uncreative dream.]

Not much has changed, has it?

[notzubats]

Not really.

We reached a new system! And there's a new pilot.

But that's all really. Everything else's the same.

[nerdeology]

New pilot, huh... I wasn't aware.

[...Oh, right, that had been a sticking point with him, hadn't it? It's been a while thanks to the whole going-home-for-months thing, but he vaguely recalls.]

How do you feel about that?

[The newest pilot could be found checking out the shuttles today. He'd already been at the bridge station enough to have figured out exactly what knowledge of it the augment had given him, and how much he was going to need to figure out through experience. Thankfully, he had a background in it already, so it wouldn't be hard to apply his normal knowledge to the situation.

The shuttles, he found, weren't all that different, and he was poking around in one on simulation mode for now just to get a feel for its handling. The ship and shuttles definitely weren't anything like the Red Lion, but maybe more along the lines of the Garrison craft. So, it wasn't bad. It wasn't great, either, but it wasn't bad.

Then again, because of how a Paladin and Lion bonded with each other, Keith was pretty sure any craft would feel inferior to piloting the Red Lion. There was just something about that bond and the way they almost melded to work practically as one that couldn't be matched by a non-sentient craft.]

[There's been a whole lot of drama and crying and whatnot on the invisible side of the crew, taking priority for a while, but once that's sorted Mikleo's getting back to the groove of examining the ship and any changes he might have missed during his long sleep, as any good captain should. That includes, but isn't limited to, meeting the new crew members and checking on the equipment. Turns out he can get two birds with one stone when he reaches the shuttle bay and finds an unfamiliar face.

Mikleo watches him for a bit, nosy and cautious, but the stranger doesn't feel malevolent and he looks normal enough. Before too long he calls out to check the man's resonance.]

Hey.

[tempredmental]

[Keith had stepped out of the shuttle just as he heard the voice. He glanced up, about to answer whoever had called to him, but then froze.

There was no one there.

He blinked.]

Uh... hello?

[He looked around, wondering if whoever had spoken was maybe just out of his line of sight.]

Is someone there?

[nerdeology]

[Well, well. That's a surprise. He steps experimentally first left, then right, with no effect. Interesting. Like many others in the fleet, he's halfway there.

Keith's lucky Edna isn't here, she'd have a field day with this.]

Someone's definitely here... though it looks like you can't see me yet.

[tempredmental]

[Okay... that was weird. Keith frowned, looking somewhat annoyed suddenly.]

Okay, I've heard weird stuff about this ship, but really? You're not just pulling my leg or something and talking to me over a PA system?

[He had a very low tolerance for being messed around with.]

[nerdeology]

"P A system"? [the fek is that] You mean the communicator? No, I'm not using it. I'm a seraph- most people aren't able to see or hear us. There's three currently living on the Huntress.

[At some point during his practicing, Keith's managed to acquire himself a spectator. Or rather, a spy really. Sora's really not sure what to make of this new pilot - heck, he's kinda annoyed that there's a new pilot at all when he was so close to getting it himself. So he's rather wary of this guy, at least, as wary as Sora can actually be (which is not much).

So today, he's decided to see just how good this pilot actually is, by spying on his practice. And so there he sits, crouched down behind one of the shuttle chairs as he occasionally peers over when he thinks it's safe to look.

...It'd probably be a lot easier to sneak if he didn't have super spikey hair poking out everywhere, but hey. What can do you do]

[It was weird. At one point, Keith had been oddly certain that someone had entered the shuttle during his practice, but then no one said anything. He'd heard weird thing about the Huntress having ghosts or invisible people, but so far hadn't really had an incident that he could describe as such. This might be one of those times.

He figured it was likely invisible people. Lance would have thought ghosts.

Either way, he kept going through the motions, though he was definitely more on edge about the sensation of being watched while he did. He could only handle that for so long before his temper got the best of him.

He shut down the simulation and turned.]

Alright. I know you're there. Quit sneaking around.

What do you want?

[Welp so much for being sneaky. He gulps and hops up from behind the chair. Definitely not an invisible person, just a teenager]

Nothing! I was just watching!

[tempredmental]

You could have said something, you know.

[Keith frowned.]

Why were you sneaking around?

[He didn't really like being spied on, Sora!]

[ Maglor likes this stop (although he's not entirely sold on their fashion sense, just yet) and can be found either on the ship or off it, wandering around, and yes, he's still in black leather (blame Misty).

Somewhere, he's acquired headphones, and a walkman (be afraid), and when he's aboard the Huntress he's often listening to music, now, if he isn't making his own, experimenting with new tunes and rhythms. Alternatively, he's playing with the present he found in the water world temple that Maedhros and he braved. It looks, to all appearances, like a large, smooth stone. But in his hands it glimmers with light, sometimes dim, and sometimes bright, a clear, steadfast blue flame. The temple gave him one of his father's glow stones, and Maglor's eyes are filled with memory as he plays with the rocks his father invented first of all to keep the nightmares at bay for his children. ]

[Well Arthur couldn't say they didn't look good on the elf, but it was certainly a change. Enough of one that he couldn't help the small chuckle. Especially seeing him carry a Walkman of all things.]

Been shopping I see?

[ Maglor looks up and smiles at Arthur ]

A little, yes, [ He confesses ] The Lady Misty took me to one of the concerts, and I ... was curious. I found these in a small back alley shop.

It looks good on you. I'll admit, I'm a bit fond of the style myself at home. For my free time of course.

[He nods towards the Walkman.]

They are not to my usual taste, but Lady Misty likes them. [ so... he left them on ]

[Mikleo's more or less just woken up and gotten his affairs sorted with the rest of his friends, so he hasn't had time to venture outside of the ship yet, and he's only barely glanced at the comm description of their stop. So when he spots Maglor with that outfit, along with the headphones, and that... thing he's carrying... he can't help but stop and stare.

He looks up when he spots Mikleo and flushes like a child caught with their hand in a candy jar. ]

C-captain! Mikleo! I ... sorry, am I interrupting?

[wow, this. this sure has been an experience. Mikleo's too shocked to even get annoyed at being called captain again.]

Shouldn't I be the one saying that to you?
