[ A roar? Hell yes, Rokurou is all about that, and he's mirroring Velvet's reaction, head poking out of the passenger window and all smiles. What had once been a 'let's try out this weird technology' had quickly turned into something way more interesting. ]

[Cloud grabs the back of Rokurou's...kimono??? Thing? Whatever it is he grabs it and holds him back, and why actually is it so difficult for him to hold back some Wutai ninja cosplayer.] Don't you dare fight it! That's the client!

[Okay, but his 'client' is definitely taking a huge tentacle-swing at them as the people around them screech and scatter.]

[She dodges the swinging tentacle. She definitely moves like she knows how to fight. But she also doesn't seem quite as excited about fighting as Rokurou? Maybe.]

[ He stumbles back a few steps with that pull at his clothes, which also means the swipe of the tentacle misses him. And as much as he should be appreciative of that, he is making a disappointed face at being told he can't fight a thing. ]

Yeah, this doesn't look like much of a business relationship.

[She turns toward the giant angry octopus and takes out her giant daemon arm. Because hey, if this thing is smart enough to be a client maybe it's smart enough to recognize a threat.]

Perhaps the client is actually some kind of professional assassin. Perhaps it is the strongest of its species or like, a wrestling champion or something, because there's no reason why it should be able to flail around those tentacles so strongly and efficiently. It tries to wrap up as many of them as it can, dragging them toward it lightning fast; Cloud struggles but he can't quite break free and its mouth is right there and-

Wait- no that's definitely a kiss, its not using any of its approximately one billion teeth. And you know what, if Velvet and Rokurou are nearby its gonna scoop them up kiss them too. Be warned, its very drooly and wet.

Maybe someone will finally notice that the client had dropped a half-opened box. A sparkly picture frame pokes out of it; a sweet image of said client cuddled up with another member of its species, and though the writing and symbols are different, those are definitely glittery pink flowers all over the frame and bedazzled onto the picture itself, little LED hearts blinking on and off at the corners.]

[Well, on the bright side Velvet is shocked enough that she doesn't follow through with her threat.]

[ Ugh, being on Cloud's shoulder means Rokurou's right in the middle of this tentacle-on-Cloud action, somewhere he really really doesn't like being. ]

[ Mostly because he's pretty sure it means he's not getting a fight out of this after all. ]

The hell- what kind of client is this anyway? If you're gonna get into this kind of stuff, you should really keep it in the hotel rooms. There's kids around.

[ Think of the children, Cloud, jeez. ]

I guess furious screeching is gratitude for this species- stop that, [Cloud says exasperatedly, shoving at the client's face until it finally lets him go and gathers up the package and frame, gurgling happily. Look, Velvet, the client is showing you the picture. With all that hair you almost look like you have your own set of beautiful tentacles! Don't worry, you'll find love some day.]

[Velvet blinks at the picture and like, takes a step backwards. But at least she realizes it's not a threat and she doesn't try to kill it or any thing.]

[ Why is everyone so rude to Rokurou today, all he wanted was some fun. He makes a face at the shoulder punching, but doesn't comment on it otherwise. ]

[ Tapping Cloud's arm to be put down, this ride should probably end now that there's no monster to be fighting. ]

The walk back to the car is exceedingly unpleasant with all this gross drool slime stuff.] You might as well take advantage of the situation and charge me double fare; not like any other cabbie's gonna let me get in looking like this.

[ Rokurou almost opens his mouth to ask why they're talking about money, why Velvet's accepting money from some alien escort, but the sensible part of his brain gently reminds him not to question free money. So instead he shuts his pie hole and smiles brightly, brushing off slime before taking his own seat again. ]
