Deep Dreams Are Made of These - Open
Who: Keith, Huntress crew, Shiro, open text message
Broadcast: Text
Action: Huntress
When: The night of and morning after the visions/nightmares
[Darkness. Stars. It’s nighttime and the ground trembles. A deep underlying sense of panic permeates everything, tangible in the way your limbs shake and the expressions on people’s faces, though specific features seem to melt away. The darkness turns to red, and the red turns to fire… fire everywhere, uncontrollable and hungry. It burns at your limbs and for a brief second, you see a world-- a planet-- engulfed in a wave of red-orange death.
The background noise is a strange alien wailing, neither male nor female, but it is deep and you find you can almost understand the words. They are strong enough to be word-feelings, which makes them a little hard to concentrate on with the chaos otherwise found in the vision.
<Fire.> <Run.> <Help.>]
=====
on the huntress
[Keith jumped up in bed with a yell, breathing hard. He didn't have nightmares often, but that sure was one. He rubbed his face. Was that... tears? He looked at his hands for a moment, noticing that they were trembling. Keith hesitated, but then eventually reached for the communicator.
After speaking with Shiro, he made his way out to the common area for a bit. He needed to get out of his room. After the common area, he went to the shuttle bay to beat up the punching bag for a bit.]

He's tucked away in the corner, reading a book so quietly his presence could easily go unnoticed at first. He looks up as Keith enters, however, surprised at first, then concerned. What's he doing up so late?]
Are you okay?

[Keith definitely looked... off. He was pretty shaken and, having woken up in the middle of the night, he was tired, but there was no way he was getting back to sleep after that. He shrugged, trying to make it seem less like he was off balance from this.]
Weird dreams, I guess. Not one I've had before, though.

I'd like to compile a complete list of each dream that seems to be out of place. The more details we have, the better chance we have of understanding.

He didn't look great... he clearly hadn't gone back to sleep after the nightmare woke him up, and he looked a bit shaken.]
I don't know. There seems to be a few of these things going around.
[At least he wasn't the only one. He hated the idea of him being the only one seeing this stuff or experiencing it. Sensing strange energy in the desert had been one thing, but now weird energy on the Marsiva, and nightmare visions that spelled doom... he was starting to wonder just how much more he didn't know about himself.]

Are you sure it's an Atroma thing? This feels very different, doesn't it? Hasn't the Fleet been hit by outside forces before?

What the quiznak?
[He turned to look back over his shoulder, spotting the horn near the door.
He was pretty sure that hadn't been there before. Had someone just blasted that thing at him and left? He frowned, glaring at it. Getting up, he stalked over, snatched it up, and put it out the door into the corridor beyond, then let the door close before going back to the punching bag.]

There was a planet. It seemed like it was dying. There were these shadows. I heard words. Or felt them. Mine had a lot of words, in bursts:
Come home together
wake together stay
sick death stop
sister
[This is all very bullshit. It might not even be the Atroma, but it's bullshit. Leave his dreams alone they're bad enough when they're just his.]

It was super unsettling. Like, I saw a planet in my dreams and there was bunch of strange voices. Then I was in a forest surrounded by petrified plants with something watching me. Last thing I remember was running before I woke up.
Super creepy. No idea what any of it means.
Re: Text
some people were getting words in theres
like feelings and stuff
[Oh, Hunk. Keith was honestly so relieved right now. He felt guilty about feeling relieved, and he also felt bad that Hunk had one of these stupid dream vision things, too, but damn... this meant it wasn't just because Keith was part alien, and that made him feel so much better.]
