[ When the feed comes on, the woman featured mostly looks... Awkward, and unsure of herself. It takes her a moment to realise her pressing buttons worked, and then she brightens, leaning forward so that her face is in the camera a little more. She's trying, but modern technology is still a bit of a leap for her, despite knowing how to use it thanks to her augment. It's foreign, but she's doing her best. ]

Andaran atish’an. My name is Leilani of Clan Lavellan - I was told there were other elves here, from Thedas. I was hoping to meet them, if I could? It's not necessary, of course, but...

[ But she does rather want to be with her people right now, or some of them, if she can. She doesn't feel particularly comfortable and she thinks she has reason enough to feel on edge, all things considered.

Hopefully, no one will notice her lack of vallaslin. She's not in the mood. She seems to steel herself, at least, and something settles as she sits up. ]

I'd be glad to speak to anyone else, as well, especially if I can be given more information about this place. I would appreciate it. Ma serannas.

I am mostly concerned with making sure I don't get lost, and when I'll be able to breathe real air again.

What do we do on these ships while we wait?

Whatever duties you're assigned. And then, well... it's up to you. It can get a little boring, admittedly. Luckily, we have shuttles - mini ships - to take us between the other ships and the Iskaulit. It's a communal ship that's tagging along with the fleet. Has a pool now, two bars, some gardens, and a few other things.

I see. [ So like being trapped in a slightly more advanced Skyhold. She gets it, even if she doesn't like it. ] Are the gardens big?

They're of a decent size. I don't go there often, admittedly. The new pool's the big thing right now.

A pool? [ Wait - ] Big enough to swim in?

[bryces_pup]

Absolutely. That's what it's there for. Though I'm told it's not safe to drink. Something about something added to the water.

Why would there be need to add something to water for swimming?

Something about keeping it clean? Honestly, even for as long as I've been here it's a bit beyond me. Not my wheelhouse and all.

Maybe it's something I can learn about. It is so different from Thedas.

I'm sure someone around here knows what it is and can explain. You're going to find there's a lot that's different from Thedas here.

I'm starting to see that. [ She breathes out a soft noise. ] I will learn as quickly as I can.

You'll do fine, I promise. It's overwhelming at first, but before you know it, it comes like second nature. And there are plenty of us from Thedas to help explain and "translate" things, so to speak.
