[ When the feed comes on, the woman featured mostly looks... Awkward, and unsure of herself. It takes her a moment to realise her pressing buttons worked, and then she brightens, leaning forward so that her face is in the camera a little more. She's trying, but modern technology is still a bit of a leap for her, despite knowing how to use it thanks to her augment. It's foreign, but she's doing her best. ]

Andaran atish’an. My name is Leilani of Clan Lavellan - I was told there were other elves here, from Thedas. I was hoping to meet them, if I could? It's not necessary, of course, but...

[ But she does rather want to be with her people right now, or some of them, if she can. She doesn't feel particularly comfortable and she thinks she has reason enough to feel on edge, all things considered.

Hopefully, no one will notice her lack of vallaslin. She's not in the mood. She seems to steel herself, at least, and something settles as she sits up. ]

I'd be glad to speak to anyone else, as well, especially if I can be given more information about this place. I would appreciate it. Ma serannas.

[ The fanfare and confetti kind of give away new people, but it's still weird- especially after the nightmare that they just survived. It's better not to immediately bombard someone that just transferred, since most are still trying to get used to everything. Carl happens across her on his way to the kitchen after her broadcast.

He's never really seen an elf before, so it's pretty cool. ]

What information do you want? There's kind of a lot.

[ At least she looks elfy, and when she turns to look over at the stranger the tension in her shoulders settles; she had been prepared to defend herself, but she's not too worried. It's someone else that's trapped here, and she doesn't need a staff to do magic... Even if she misses the familiar weight of it in her hands already.

She stands a little taller and nods her head, willing to trust for now. ]

We don't stay too long when we go to planets. Usually about a month, and then it's like this for a few weeks. We just left a planet, but it wasn't good. You'll probably hear about it, or feel like something's off.

[ He shakes his head. ] The crew is good, we all kind of pitch in and keep the ship running. Do you want me to show you to your room?

[Ugh. UGH. She's speaking elven at him already. Ugh. He looks about as thrilled as a person who has just been told someone stole their kidney while they slept.]

[ She... Blinks for a moment before she shakes her head. He has - but isn't - well. This is confusing. ]

Then I won't give you Dalish greetings. [ She learned some tact from Josephine. ] It's good to meet another elf, Dalish or not.

[She is absolutely wise to not tread on THAT thin ice. Fenris exhales folding his arms.]

I appreciate that. [He grunts at that. Never one for elf solidarity. ] I am Fenris.

[Just as he was starting to get used to this place, it throws him another curve ball. Not that he's complaining. When he responds he seems amicable and friendly.]

[ Oh! An elf that has the markings and isn't cursing about being Dalish. She feels a rush of excitement. ]

I am on the Wonderduck. We could meet here, or we could take advantage of the Iskaulit. I was recently told there are parks there that have real plants. I've been meaning to seek them out.

One can be only be surrounded by metal and stone for so long.

I know quite a bit, but I would hate to repeat what others have told you. What do you know so far?

[Justice would normally greet the new arrival, maybe impart some of the limited information he has, but there's something about her that scratches the back of his mind, impossible to ignore.

The scratching would be worse, he knows intuitively, were she near, but right now he just sees her and the pull is there and he doesn't know why.

[He says it without preamble, still looking like a corpse, because he has social graces. Whatever is scratching and pulling at him, he thinks it's coming from her hand.]

[ The question doesn't really surprise her as much as it might have done a handful of years ago - she's used to people being rididuclously curious about her hand now.

That's what happens when you have an old elven's God's power in your hand.

Slowly, she holds her hand up, letting it spark in front of the camera. ]

[It crackles green, and even through the camera, even with the physical distance, he knows what it is. He knows it like a mortal knows its mother's voice.]

[There are so many questions--how, why, when, what--but they all spin uselessly in his head, unable to leave his lips because he can't stop staring. He didn't think he'd ever get the chance to see it again, and now the vision has shut down his ability to do anything but watch it spark and crackle on a mortals' hand.]

[Don't mind her she's just over here sweeping up the confetti that got everywhere when Leilani arrived. Just doing it the old fashioned way rather than relying on any of the space age contraptions because she's really more of a hands on sort of person and cleaning is a good distraction. It's been a rough week, honestly.

She's glances up when the newbie is done with her broadcast.]

[ She's a little bit hungry for it - but she's also helpful, and she moves forward to start helping to tidy things up. It wasn't entirely her own fault that everything happened, but it's an effort she can make, even with how uncomfortable her hand is. ]

[He doesn't really waste much time these days with trying to sort all that out. It's easier when it's a version he doesn't know, but he's always curious if he's a Hawke that the others may have seen. Some of them look the same across Thedases - Anders and Fenris, for example - while some of them have different people entirely in their place, such as himself and Marian or this new Lavellan and Gianni Lavellan he knows from his version of their world.

Though... she lacks the tattoos.]

[ Anyone from Thedas is welcome right now; she feels completely out of her element and unsure how to even begin to proceed from here. It's a little bit complicated, but she's learning, slowly, and her time as Inquisitor had prepared her for most strange and unusual things.
