I should probably mention I'm awake again since that's what everyone's doing. Who knew so many of us were sleeping together? [Light laughter. Yep. Okay, more serious face now.]

So, I heard what happened, and I don't want to make light of that. I know what losing a planet is like and it's...not great. [Such understatement.] But I also wanted to provide some distraction. [It's what he's best at.] Some fun. Some potential healing? [For himself too. He's still processing what happened to Okita and the others.]

For anyone who is interested—either over the network or by coming into the Space Bar at the Iskaulit—let's play a game I picked up on earth called, I Never. [He may also be correcting what he thought was awkward grammar from someone saying "Never have I ever." Details.]

So, you take turns and say something like, "I never crash landed on Earth." And if you have then you take a drink. [And he does.] Which is usually alcohol, but apparently [apparently, he says] kids don't do that here, so water or whatever is fine too. The objective is to make the other person drink more than you, so you might just get them really hydrated instead of drunk.

It's a good way to get to know someone too, so everyone's welcome even all those people I don't know yet. I'll start.

I never was born on Earth. [He doesn't drink.]

[If you do meet up with him at the Space Bar you'll see he's actually bartending and drinking on the job! But he has superhuman tolerance so there's that. He may even be responsible and switch to club soda if he needs to. He'll offer you a drink even if you're not interested in the game.]

(OOC: Feel free to threadjack if you want in on this concept with someone else too or just to point and laugh. You might want to check with them, but it's cool with me. And if anything goes to a place you don't want it to go just let me know or give me a heads up if there is something to avoid up front. He won't be intentionally hardcore about it.)

[So Lance isn't much of a bar person, considering he's just turned eighteen... But, hey. Eighteen is legal drinking age back in his home country. So as far as he cares, he's fine to drink now. Besides, he can use some chill out time instead of internally fretting about five thousand different things.

He takes his first drink at the start, as said home country is Cuba.]

It's been way too long since I've been home, but... Yeah. Uhhh. Never have I ever started a fist fight with someone way bigger than me.

[He chuckles, then--oh. Suddenly does take a drink to that too.]

Whoops, forgot about elementary school.

[Mon-El nods and then drinks.] I have done that. I have done that and it was very dumb. He was very, very big.

Elementary school though. I'm not sure if I'm impressed or concerned.

Oh, and I've never been roller skating. [That's a thing Earthlings do, right?]

Sometimes logic flies out the window when you're mad enough. And yup, elementary school. Some guy kept picking on one of my sisters, and I wasn't going to stand for it. It, uh, didn't go too well for me or my nose, but he stopped afterward.

Oh maaaan! It's been forever since I've done that. I went to a super old fashioned rollerskating rink once, and we were all tripping over ourselves and each other, but it was great.

It sounds fun. I'll have to try it if...when I get back to earth. I think Kara is keeping a list of things I need to check out. A lot of the list is movies and kinds of take out, but I'm sure there's room.

Mmmm...I'll count it. [He takes a drink.] They're more genetic than magic though. They are cool though. [He smiles.]

I'm Mon-El by the way.

And I've never driven a car?

Tell me! I like hearing about cool powers, even if it makes me totally jealous that I don't have any.

[He gives one of his patented charming smiles, then takes a drink after.]

I've driven shuttles, fighter ships, and a giant ancient blue robot lion, but I've never actually driven a car before.

Never have I ever gotten kicked out from a place.

There's the super strength and speed. Invulnerability too. [Unless it's lead. You know, the thing bullets are made from. So less helpful than you'd think.] And extreme leaping. [Frog-like powers are cool, aren't they?]

Wait, did you say you've driven a giant ancient blue robot lion?

[What? Also, he drinks and forgets to ask another game question because that sure is a thing to drive.]

...oh man, that is no fair. You're invincible! I wish we had your powers back home.

[He grins when asked about the lion.]

Yeeeeeep. She's my girl. Blue, awesome robot lion, shoots lasers and ice beams and sonic booms, and makes up part of a robot that's the universe's most powerful weapon for good. I miss her so much.

[Pidge snorts at him-- And then realizes she has to drink to that one. So she does.]

Suuuuuure you didn't. And let's face it, Pidgey, everyone is bigger than you.

Hitting you doesn't count as starting a fist fight, first of all. And second, that's technically true. But the Galra and their goons are massive by anyone's standards.

[He scowls. Lance doesn't appreciate getting tazed, okay!]

Oh, yeah. You have a point about that. They're kind of huge.

Not at all. [And does it count as a fist fight if she used a weapon? Eh, whatever.] Like that guy on Betatraz.

[He hates you sometimes, Pidge. Really. Completely.]

You mean when I saved the day with my amazing sharpshooting skills?

[Nami's also at the bar today, but given she's not on shift as of half an hour ago she's engaging owner's rights and is perched on the very end of said bar. At Lance's offering she gives a faint snort and peers down at her drink.]

A fist fight generally means they fight back, right?

[That doesn't make you sound abusive at all, Nami. To people... bigger than you are...]

I'm going to take a wild guess and say you're a pretty good fighter?

Oh, hell no. [She waves a hand hurriedly in that universal kind of do not want way.] If it were up to me, I'd never get into another fight again. I'm far too weak.

But if they're not fighting back, that's implying you whooped them, yeah?

Mostly if I'm hitting someone it's because they were a complete idiot and deserve it.

Well, I was never the one who picked them. But I suppose they could have been avoided.
