I should probably mention I'm awake again since that's what everyone's doing. Who knew so many of us were sleeping together? [Light laughter. Yep. Okay, more serious face now.]

So, I heard what happened, and I don't want to make light of that. I know what losing a planet is like and it's...not great. [Such understatement.] But I also wanted to provide some distraction. [It's what he's best at.] Some fun. Some potential healing? [For himself too. He's still processing what happened to Okita and the others.]

For anyone who is interested—either over the network or by coming into the Space Bar at the Iskaulit—let's play a game I picked up on earth called, I Never. [He may also be correcting what he thought was awkward grammar from someone saying "Never have I ever." Details.]

So, you take turns and say something like, "I never crash landed on Earth." And if you have then you take a drink. [And he does.] Which is usually alcohol, but apparently [apparently, he says] kids don't do that here, so water or whatever is fine too. The objective is to make the other person drink more than you, so you might just get them really hydrated instead of drunk.

It's a good way to get to know someone too, so everyone's welcome even all those people I don't know yet. I'll start.

I never was born on Earth. [He doesn't drink.]

[If you do meet up with him at the Space Bar you'll see he's actually bartending and drinking on the job! But he has superhuman tolerance so there's that. He may even be responsible and switch to club soda if he needs to. He'll offer you a drink even if you're not interested in the game.]

(OOC: Feel free to threadjack if you want in on this concept with someone else too or just to point and laugh. You might want to check with them, but it's cool with me. And if anything goes to a place you don't want it to go just let me know or give me a heads up if there is something to avoid up front. He won't be intentionally hardcore about it.)

Ugh, I'd probably look terrible with it all shaved. I bet I have bumps or a slope or something that would make the shape of my head all wonky.

Oh. Um, thanks. [He tugs at the longest strand of hair and hopes he's not doing something stupid, like blushing. This is the part where he should try to say something complimentary back.] You too. Er... [He really needed to learn how to do this better.] Sorry. Um... I never got your name?

[Gil smiles in an encouraging kind of way, as Prompto just acts a little more cute.]

Gil, huh? [He grins.] That's, um... Where I'm from, we call our money gil. That's gotta be a good thing, right?

No joke? Does that make me valuable? [He smirks at the idea.]

Gotta be. You're probably worth like, four potions. A-and a really cool jacket.

[He lifts his mostly empty glass.]

Likewise. Which space ship is yours?

Oh, four. Four is a lot right? Don't really know what potions are worth.

And I'm with the Blameless.

Potions are pretty valuable, so, um ... yeah. Four is a lot. Especially when you've had your ass handed to you.

[He nods.] Cool. First Breath here.

You gotta wonder who is naming these ships, right?

Back home, the ship I served on was called the Tempest. And she was pretty bad ass.

I figured it was the Atroma, or maybe the very first passengers.

Tempest. I like it! We drove around in a car called the Regalia. Small potatoes compared to a space ship, huh?

Now that really depends on the car, doesn't it?

[He hums in agreement.] The Regalia was something special. She was the King's car, you know. We put her through a lot.

[The last he saw of her, she was on the train headed for Tenebrae.]

Yeah. With a kingdom and everything.

Interesting. What's the name of the world you're from?

[He shrugs. It would be more interesting if the king were still alive the kingdom not a giant pile of rubble.]

It's called Eos. Why?

[Gil's eyes widen a bit at that.]

No shit? Weird. I know a world called Eos but it was a radioactive wasteland when we first found it.

[He smiles at the reaction, and the comment.]

Funny. You're not the first person to tell me there's another Eos. She didn't mention any radioactive wasteland, though.

That's more complicated then I'd like to admit.

I'm originally from Earth, but I'll never see Earth again in my lifetime. I moved to another galaxy so I'm not really sure I can call it "my" world any more.
