I should probably mention I'm awake again since that's what everyone's doing. Who knew so many of us were sleeping together? [Light laughter. Yep. Okay, more serious face now.]

So, I heard what happened, and I don't want to make light of that. I know what losing a planet is like and it's...not great. [Such understatement.] But I also wanted to provide some distraction. [It's what he's best at.] Some fun. Some potential healing? [For himself too. He's still processing what happened to Okita and the others.]

For anyone who is interested—either over the network or by coming into the Space Bar at the Iskaulit—let's play a game I picked up on earth called, I Never. [He may also be correcting what he thought was awkward grammar from someone saying "Never have I ever." Details.]

So, you take turns and say something like, "I never crash landed on Earth." And if you have then you take a drink. [And he does.] Which is usually alcohol, but apparently [apparently, he says] kids don't do that here, so water or whatever is fine too. The objective is to make the other person drink more than you, so you might just get them really hydrated instead of drunk.

It's a good way to get to know someone too, so everyone's welcome even all those people I don't know yet. I'll start.

I never was born on Earth. [He doesn't drink.]

[If you do meet up with him at the Space Bar you'll see he's actually bartending and drinking on the job! But he has superhuman tolerance so there's that. He may even be responsible and switch to club soda if he needs to. He'll offer you a drink even if you're not interested in the game.]

(OOC: Feel free to threadjack if you want in on this concept with someone else too or just to point and laugh. You might want to check with them, but it's cool with me. And if anything goes to a place you don't want it to go just let me know or give me a heads up if there is something to avoid up front. He won't be intentionally hardcore about it.)

Was that because you chose not to try, or did you try and fail?

[Crowley casts him a look, before picking idly at some non-existent lint on his shirt. ]

Never bothered. It just looked like a lot of practise for not a lot of payoff.

No? I've heard accomplished musicians often gather many admirers. I'm sure you'd love that sort of thing.

[He's pretty sure that was a yes and now he's just teasing]

[Oh, Crowley doesn't mind at all. A smirk plays across his lips. ]

You know, you're right, I do love being admired. Is it worth all that effort though, when I can get admirers just by looking pretty? Isn't that the big question here?

Hmmm...very true. Not that being that pretty is easy, mind you.

[He smiles back, unabashed, and leans back slightly in his seat and spreading his arms in a demonstrative fashion.]

[He laughs, absolutely enjoying the sight and not being the least bit subtle about that fact. ]

That is true. You suffer daily in the constant struggle you have being gorgeous all the time. You poor soul. My heart bleeds.

Thank you, darling. Your acknowledgment of my plight sustains me in the darkness of times.

[He leans on the bar again]

But now that we're on the subject, is there any craft or skill you've developed in your time?

I'm glad I can manage that for you. I do try my best, for your sake.

[He...actually has to think about that. ]

What you mean like...actually worked on and not just magicked into being?

I wasn't aware that was an option. So...yes?

I suppose. It's not something you could do before?

[Normally he'd say 'when you were younger' but you know]

What, you mean like...when I was an angel? 'Cause I didn't really do a whole lot, back then. There was nothing for us to really do at all.

Well, that would qualify as 'before', I suppose. [Felix rests his chin on the palm of his hand] What was the world like, when you were an angel? [They hardly ever broach this subject, but since Crowley has done it first, Felix cautious extends a toe into the waters.]

[It's absolutely not one of Crowley's favourite topics, but he had steered the conversation in that direction. He stills for a moment, quiet, before exhaling slowly. ]

New, mostly. Everything was new, like...I don't know. It was just put together piece by piece. Eventually He put animals on it and that made things a little more interesting to watch= and then humans. It was after the humans showed up that the trouble started and it all went pear shaped.
