I should probably mention I'm awake again since that's what everyone's doing. Who knew so many of us were sleeping together? [Light laughter. Yep. Okay, more serious face now.]

So, I heard what happened, and I don't want to make light of that. I know what losing a planet is like and it's...not great. [Such understatement.] But I also wanted to provide some distraction. [It's what he's best at.] Some fun. Some potential healing? [For himself too. He's still processing what happened to Okita and the others.]

For anyone who is interested—either over the network or by coming into the Space Bar at the Iskaulit—let's play a game I picked up on earth called, I Never. [He may also be correcting what he thought was awkward grammar from someone saying "Never have I ever." Details.]

So, you take turns and say something like, "I never crash landed on Earth." And if you have then you take a drink. [And he does.] Which is usually alcohol, but apparently [apparently, he says] kids don't do that here, so water or whatever is fine too. The objective is to make the other person drink more than you, so you might just get them really hydrated instead of drunk.

It's a good way to get to know someone too, so everyone's welcome even all those people I don't know yet. I'll start.

I never was born on Earth. [He doesn't drink.]

[If you do meet up with him at the Space Bar you'll see he's actually bartending and drinking on the job! But he has superhuman tolerance so there's that. He may even be responsible and switch to club soda if he needs to. He'll offer you a drink even if you're not interested in the game.]

(OOC: Feel free to threadjack if you want in on this concept with someone else too or just to point and laugh. You might want to check with them, but it's cool with me. And if anything goes to a place you don't want it to go just let me know or give me a heads up if there is something to avoid up front. He won't be intentionally hardcore about it.)

["Drink until you're passed-out-drunk" is one of Mon-El's old favorites. Ahh, memories!]

You're not sure what the name of your world is? [That's amazing and not even the first time he's heard that. How does that happen? It really never comes up?]

[Mon-El takes a drink at that "I never" though.] Beralian tonic is just not good at all. It smells like old cheese, but when you taste it you'd wish you could just be eating old cheese instead.] Really old cheese.

I never...had a job as a child or teenager.

I'm pretty sure someone's told it to me before, but I don't remember.

[ Honest truth; interplanetary travel isn't a part of Rokurou's universe, so rather than knowing the name of the world, he's more familiar with the countries and towns that he's been to. ]

[ He reaches for his cup then but pause, fingers lingering on the ceramic, brow furrowed as he tries to work out whether or not his life as a teenager, spent training and doing missions for his family, counted for that particular statement. ]

Does it count if you weren't actually being paid directly?

[He nods even though it's baffling to him.]

I'm thinking no. I feel like a paycheck is a big part of employment. Otherwise it would be...doing stuff.

Well, my family got paid, but I didn't get the money myself on account of being a teenager and all. Family business.

[ He glances at his cup before shrugging. Being disappointed that he doesn't get to drink is the wrong way to go about this game, but he's also determined to see this game through properly. ]

Okay, my turn again right? I've never driven one of those car things.

[ Not for lack of trying, but Velvet wouldn't give him the keys. ]

Sure. Family business. [He was royalty. That's a family business, right?]

Neither have I, but it looks fun. Or it would if they went faster than I usually see them going.

I've never been to the Iskaulit. [Drinking. It just felt like a good round for drinking.]

[ No complaints here, rather he'd be complaining if he had to go several rounds of this without taking a drink. ]

Looks real fun for being a big box on wheels. I rode with a friend of mine, she seemed to enjoy it.

[ She mostly seemed to enjoy terrorizing that one kid who jumped into the backseat of their car and then letting him to cough up money for the excursion, but hey. ]

[ So did he. ]

I've never been on a space ship before joining this fleet of them, myself.

[Mon-El drinks at that.] I still find that strange that it's uncommon for so many people.

I've never thought of space travel as sci-fi.

Sooo... what if I don't know what 'sci-fi' means?

[ Valid questions, though Rokurou wouldn't mind another drink. ]

Oh, science fiction. So, thinking of it as a made up story, not something that actually happens.

Well, I guess I've heard of stories like that. Never gave it much thought myself, there's plenty to think about on the ground, but sure.

[ He'll take that blessed, blessed drink. ]

You can find out some really interesting things about people this way, huh?

If you ask the right questions. I haven't tried any really hard ones yet. I'm not sure it fits the friendly game vibe.

[ Well that gets him grinning a little more sharply. ]
