[With the tragedy of Lyuku and the entire Eyuzi system behind the Fleet, the crew of the Blue Fish and their friends are now settling into a new routine while they drift along in the relative safety of space.

As one of the few ships that didn't suffer a loss of crew during their little excursion, the crew can safely go about their duties, unless something attacks that is.]

[ Aerith is slowly getting used to her position of cook - it's not the most familiar thing to her, even though she had done a little bit here and there with her mom back at home. She's getting better here, though, and when she walks into the kitchen she's definitely more comfortable, even with someone she's not familiar with settling down.

She blinks, watching him for a moment, before her smile softens and she gives him a bright look. ]

[ Hey, any cook is better than no cook, honestly!

He returns the smile, raises his coffee mug like a kind of salute. ]

Hey! I'm not in your way, am I? 'Cause I can move, promise.

No, you're not.

[ But she does move closer, tilting her head, before - yes, she leans forward. ]

Heh, if you're sure. [ Nod! ] I'm Eithan. Nice to meet you, Aerith.

[ He smiles all the more. Talking to people is always a welcome thing, as far as he's concerned. And he does feel bad, she's been on the ship for a little bit now, right? He knows he's seen her, a little - but he's been so all over the damn place lately, it's hard to keep track... ]

Sorry I haven't really been around much - I'm usually better about talkin' to people, but with everything that's been happenin'... [ yeeaaah gonna trail off on that one. ]

There's lots of room for me to experiment even if the entire crew was here.

[ That might be a touch of an exaggeration, but she means it in the nicest way she can manage. It's not exactly his fault that she's not made an introduction yet; she spends as much time off the ship as she does on it with Zack and Cloud around. ]

It's okay! I don't mind and I understand. I've been busy visiting people too. We're getting to meet now and that's what matters.

Only thing I know for sure is that Sokka likes meat. Like, really, really likes meat. It's kind of a thing. [ He laughs a little. ] Still, I'm pretty sure anything you make will be awesome, don't worry.
