Who: Thor + others
Broadcast: no
Action: the Blue Fish
When: November 10th
[Timing is everything. That fact is something Thor has come to appreciate during the last few years, due to various close calls and missed opportunities. The timing involved in his sudden abduction into the Marsiva and theft of his hammer is a point he would argue with whoever was responsible. Loudly. Except there was no one around, and so he instead applied himself to trying break his way out of the hospitality deck. Several large dents but no real progress later, he's getting frustrated. He decides, quite reasonably, that he has to go with extra force, and so prepares for a running start.
Of course this is the exact moment the Atroma decide to teleport him onto the Blue Fish. Timing, y'know?
The end result is Thor is caught mid-run, slams right into a pilot console (don't worry, it's fine), and goes down with an aggravated yell. A burst of confetti flutters down around him. If that wasn't loud enough to draw attention from anyone in the ship, he's up within a few seconds, and shouting at the roof.]
Stop moving me around and show yourself, you cowards!
[If anyone's game to explain the situation to angry armored guy in a cape trying to start a fight with the Atroma, now's the time.
Later on, once he's sufficiently calmed down, Thor can be found looking through the rest of the ship, checking out all of the rooms and the damage sustained in the crash. He also makes a point to climb up the outside of the ship and survey the landscape... that's a lot of red forest out there.]

There are quite a few that appear to have been here that long. [Alistair is still surprised at that himself.] One of them is my wife, and yet until I arrived myself, I had no idea she was missing.
[No, he isn't pleased about that one bit either. His wife was kidnapped and he was clueless.]
no subject
[This situation gets stranger the more he hears about it.]
no subject
[Thor. THOR. Do you really want Alistair to explain this to you? Too late. He's going to do it anyway.
But he's not happy about the way he found out about this either.]
And supposedly time stops when you arrive here. If you were to return to your own world, you'd go back to the point where you left. Which means I'd go back to trying to get away from a plethora of boring meetings.
no subject
Then our absence won't even be noticed? Or at least, if there were someone around who could.
[Thor himself was pretty far away from everyone he knew, save Heimdall. And he's not entirely certain Heimdall can't see him regardless.]
Either it's some power of our captors, or we are somewhere beyond the workings of worlds I know.
no subject
That's what I've heard, at least. And I hope that's true, because I don't think my country can take another civil war.
[He's not sure that he's a good king, but he's trying and there's really no one else to lead the Fereldens besides Anora. And that's just not a good thing at all.]
I think it's something to do with our captors. We're here to be actor in a reality play.
[It's television, sweet Alistair, but that's close enough.]
no subject
Yes, I have heard about the reality television. [This one knows what it is, despite never watching much of it.] I find it hard to believe that's their true purpose in capturing us. I am a fighter, not an entertainer.
no subject
I still don't see how anyone finds value in the day-to-day lives of people being held prisoner on metal ships. Wouldn't you be bored senseless?
[He can find some value in a good play, certainly, but his life isn't as thrilling as it once was. So why would anyone bother to take him now?]
I'm denied even the challenge of a good battle back home, thanks to my advisers.
no subject
[Though he wasn't much fond of television either, he had seen plays before. Still not his favourite form of entertainment.]
You're advised not to join battles, then?
[That's rough.]
no subject
[But, Alistair, your marital relationship is steamy and equals monies and goods. Fun, right?
At the question, the king frowns.]
They can't tell me not to fight, but I've been told to avoid "unnecessary conflict". I don't know how helping the citizens of a country I've been charged with protecting can be called unnecessary, but I don't like it either.
no subject
[He pauses for a moment, then grins a bit.]
I would think the situation we find ourselves in would invite that necessity, though. I've heard the inhabitants of this planet are too keen for blood.
no subject
[Guess who never wanted to be king and yet is because the other options are worse?]
Not all are, from what I understand. And I've fought with those who are. They make no qualms about starting fights with anyone they want.
no subject
Good counsel does not always feel so, at the time. Did you know that you would take the throne?
[That does sober Thor up again, because of course it wouldn't be so simple as the entirety of the planet being against them. The idea that people have to share a planet with those so violent is a bitter one.]
Then it is ever more important that we stop the ones causing trouble.
no subject
One hardly expects to follow their father on the throne as his bastard son. Especially not when there's a legitimate son there first.
[Ah, Cailan, you stupid moron. Alistair's kinda sad that he never really got to know you, only of you.]
I agree. The ones causing trouble do seem fairly numerous right now, but I think there's some sort of rebellion against them brewing.
no subject
[Even Thor knows when to stop pushing an issue with someone he's just met, so he doesn't ask anything further. Especially not when it comes to family.]
I have heard that is the case. It sounds like a precarious time to arrive.
[Still, what else is new? Every time he went to Earth, something monumentally dangerous ended up happening. Such is life.]
no subject
Well, at least you've managed to avoid being almost skewered during your arrival. This ship is mostly repaired from its crash, according to the First Mat.
[His wife.]
There are others that aren't so lucky.
no subject
There are some who have not been able to repair their ships, then? Are they nearby?
no subject
The one I came from was about a three hour hike from this ship. I didn't see anyone on it, but there appears to have been enough damage that hasn't been repaired. Or hadn't been a few days ago.
no subject
And there are more ships besides just these two, from what I hear.
no subject
From what I understand, there are more than the these two that are grounded and many more... in space.
[And those words just sound strange. Space ships. Entertainment programs. Reality drama. Just too much for medieval kings.]
As if being used as entertainment wasn't enough, it's also supposed to be in space.
no subject
It's fortunate that not every ship in this fleet was shot down... but it still does not bode well to have any number of them grounded like this.
[He's more familiar with space, and knows what it takes to get something space-worthy. This planet does not sound beneficial to any of that.]
You haven't been in space before, I take it?
no subject
They were brought down by big ranged weapons. Mounted ballistas, I believe.
[Mounted laser guns. Mounted laser guns, Alistair.]
No, there's enough trouble on Thedas without adding in anything from space.
[The Fade, Darkspawn, Archdemons, Magisters, Mages vs Templars.... Do they really need space added to that?]
no subject
[He just assumes that's what every race will do at some point in their lives.]
It's unfortunate this is your first experience of it, though.
no subject
[Look, when the mages ruin the world and curse the entire land to creatures that can literally make the land unlivable for decades.... Space is the last thing Thedosians need. Blood mages in space.... with laser guns. No thank you.]
Actually, this part of it, aside from the ship being metal and all the strange things here, is pretty much like home. Fighting things that want to eat and destroy me is...nothing new.
no subject
You know, I feel the same way. I've fought in many battles against ferocious enemies who would have liked nothing better than to tear me to pieces. No cannibals... but there's a first time for everything.
no subject
[He means that the most sarcastically way he can. He NEVER wants to talk about Darkspawn.]
This almost seems like a vacation, of sorts. Perhaps I should be more grateful.
