[Ochako's just sort of wandering around, taking in the sights, doing a bit of casual window shopping- she's back into fund-hoarding mode so she isn't spending the way she'd really like to. The last few months have done a number on her sense of safety in the fleet. She's more or less just exploring the place at this point.

The racing snowmobiles has her intrigued at some point in her venture, mostly because she's never seen them used in that way. She sneaks through the spectators to watch at the finishing line, waiting for the current race to end; with the helmets on, she can't tell that one of them is Jayden, but it's exciting enough - especially with the crowd around her - to get her pumped.]

[ Honestly, that infectious excitement might be one of her favorite parts. Not that Jayden's in it for glory or anything ridiculous like that, but back home, it was a nice break from war all the time. And here? It's just plain nice.

Of course, Jayden's too tied up in the race to notice any individual spectator - so it isn't until the end of the race (of which she nabs 2nd place! Not bad~ ) that she even spots Ochako. She's surprised, for sure! But she pulls off her helmet, gives her a smile and a thumbs-up. And once the celebratory stuff is done, she makes her way over. ]

Hey! Didn't see you until the end - were you there the whole time?

[Ochako hoots and claps at the end of the race, and she only gets louder when she catches sight of Jayden amongst the winners. She waits well after most of the spectators have moved on, rolling back and forth on her heels until Jayden is free to approach.]

No, not the whole time! I just got here a little while ago. I caught the end, though! Congrats for the win.

[ She can't help but smile. ] Thanks. Honestly? Didn't think I'd actually place. It was pretty close, and these things aren't exactly like back home.

Ooh, what do you have at home, then?

[she's not too big on racing, but it sure looked fun.]

Hover-bikes, called sparrows. They're long, fast... Almost feels like riding a jet ski with less resistance.

[ She glances back at the snowmobile she's essentially claimed as her own while she's here. ]

These are still pretty fun. Had a chance to ride one yet?

Sparrow is such a cute name for it...

I haven't tried it yet! I only just got here.

Hmm. Want to? I can show you how. And there's plenty of space just outside city limits.

[ At least this thing won't auto-pilot on you and flip upside down right?? ]

[ She holds up the helmet. Safety first~~ ]

She smiles a bit as she hands over the helmet, and the keys. Time for some bonding over snow-themed ATVs??? ]

Well then. Ready if you are.

[She plops the helmet on without hesitation, taking a very careful moment to fasten the strap, shake it about, make sure it's on good and firm.

And then she grabs the keys and takes off running for the nearest ATV, whooping like a nerd.]
