[ He stuck his hands back in his pockets, watching the creatures. ]
Makes me kind of miss Earth, looking at them.
[ His gaze returned to Thor. ]
How are you finding the Fleet, Thor? Been a couple months hasn't it?
[ Since he first saw him on the network, though he hadn't really gotten to speak to him in person til Friendsgiving. ]

The calm before the storm, as they say. Makes you appreciate little moments like this.
[ He shrugged off his pack and ruffled around, finally pulling out a small book and a pencil. He might be from the future, but he appreciated manual. He looked towards the creatures, loosely mapping out their form in quick strokes. He was no artist, to be sure, but he could capture the basic shape and look. ]
If no one's warned you yet, you should be prepared for some level of craziness every few weeks. To keep the "audiences" interested, no doubt.
[ His sarcasm could melt the snow at their feet. ]

A vague one, yes. Things like we went through on the last planet aren't as common, but running into problems or stressful situations? That's more so. We tend to go through a 'stress' episode, to speak, and then we get something quieter, so to speak.
If you play into this all being for a TV show, it makes sense. My personal theory is they are testing how we react to these situations, though some of them haven't felt as... controlled as others.
