[It's a start!]

Hmph.

[Keith looked a little amused for a moment, and then reached down, grabbed the hem of Lance's shirt and giving a tug.]

Sit up.

[He pushed himself up so Lance could do the same.]

Yes, sir.

[He gives a little salute before sitting up, helping Keith take off his shirt. He reaches forward and does the same to Keith's, tossing it off to the side. Not like it's going to be worn again soon.]

[There was that tiny wince again, but Keith seemed to just barrel through, ignoring it once again as the shirts were discarded. Instead, he leaned in, kissing gently around Lance's neck.]

[He reaches up to stroke through Keith's hair again. It's getting longer, might need a trim sometime... But he could think more about that later.]

I'm gonna make you feel so good you'll wonder how you ever managed without me.

[Careful with those scissors, Lance.

Keith pulled his head back to look at Lance for a moment, a slight smirk on his face.]

Really now?

[He'll be careful! Promise!

He smirks back, trying to look more confident than he actually feels.]

Yep. You're gonna be like, oh, why did I wait this long to be in his arms and kissing him and stuff.

[Okay, so maybe he's not very good with words right now. So he just lunges in to kiss him again, lightly pushing Keith back by the shoulders until he's laying down on the bed.]

That sounded nothing like me.

[Keith chuckled, letting Lance push him back onto the bed.]

It so did.

[He crawls on top of him, leaning in to kiss him again as he rests his hands on his chest.]

Did not.

[Keith kissed him back, and then brought his hands up to Lance's waist, lightly brushing over his skin.]

Did too.

[He smiles down. But before he gets to anything else...]

Okay, um, before we totally lose ourselves to the throes of passion or whatever... I, uh, guess we should talk limits? I don't want to accidentally make you uncomfortable or push you too far.

[Keith looked momentarily surprised, but then nodded a little.]

Okay. Sure.

[He considered it for a moment.]

Well, what are you comfortable with? I mean... I know things are still kinda new with us.

[Sure, they'd been fooling around a little, kissing and holding hands and hanging out and sleeping over with each other... but this was their first date. He had let things get too far during a first date before, and that turned into his partner winning a bet she had with someone else and ditching him. Not that he felt like Lance would do that, but that nagging feeling was still there and hard to squash.]

Honestly, I don't really...have any limits in how many bases we round. I just, uh... I'm not exactly... Um, I haven't really been taken off the bench that often before.

[Yes, this is Lance, trying to use a baseball analogy to explain that he really hasn't ever gotten much further than what the two of them were doing before dinner.]

But I'm not really afraid of anything. Maybe of me not being good enough, even though I just told you I was going to blow your mind and all that. But...I trust you completely.

[Keith looked concerned for a moment, and put his arms around Lance completely now.]

If it helps, I'm pretty rusty myself, and my first experience was pretty terrible, so... we can sort of fumble through all this together, yeah?

Plus... I haven't been with another guy before. So that's new to me, too.

We'll just take it slow. Would that help?

[Keith was okay with taking it slow. It felt safer.]

Okay. Then we're learning together.

[He presses their foreheads together.]

I just think I might get overeager, so I don't want to end up trying anything that you'd think was too far.

[Keith closed his eyes and nodded.]

Yeah... I'll tell you, okay? If something makes me uncomfortable. And, even without limits, you have to promise to tell me, too, if I go too far or do something you don't want me to. Okay?

Promise. Though I can't think of much you can do to me here that I wouldn't want.

[He can't help but tease, one hand sliding up Keith's bare side.]

[Keith smiled a bit, and then pulled Lance down for another kiss.]

Good. Then let's see where this ends up.

[Keith smirked and rolled them so he was on top, and then started kissing Lance's neck again, and along his jawline.]

Hey, who says you're going to be on the top--mm.

[Okay. Neck kisses are nice. He'll stop his complaining for now.]

I do.

[Keith smiled against Lance's skin, and teasingly licked along the spot where his jaw joined with his neck.]

I can do more.

[To illustrate, he moved his kissing and attention down Lance's neck, to his collarbone, and then across to the spot where his collarbones met his chest bone. Then some more gentle kissing, working his way down towards Lance's bellybutton.]

[Oh my god.

He's going to die. He's literally going to die. Cause of death: Keith. Lance is looking down at him with wide eyes, unable to do much but continue playing with his hair. Seems Keith is taking the reins here, anyway.]

[Keith paused when he got to Lance's bellybutton, looking back up at him through his long bangs. He smirked.]

We can always switch off.

[That could be fun, too...]

Switch off on what exactly--y'know what, whatever, less talking and more doing.

[As much as he likes Keith's voice, he's very much interested in what Keith's doing to him right now, thank you very much.]

[Keith chuckled a little. He didn't exactly have a plan, but he was just going to go with the flow here. A few more kisses, and then... he paused again, smirking a bit.]

You sure about that? You sounded like you really wanted to be on top.

Aw, Keith... Stop teasing. I'm--okay with you being on the top for now, okay?

[More than okay, honestly. It's just a token protest.]
