[ So the weekly shuffle has happened. We got new captains, people who have mysteriously disappeared-- I mean, who have never existed, and new people aboard the ships. That's exciting! Wow! ]

[ New people, get acquainted with your ships? Press all the buttons? Introduce yourself like a polite individual? Old people, keep aging? Welcome them with open arms and confetti? Punch the person who just opened the door while you were in the shower??? ]

I tried to make some of the meat that I bought. I think this time, I overcooked it, but I know better now.

His name is Crowley, I think...he's also our captain.

Try bribing him with some food? It won't hurt to build a good relationship with him.

He seems like the type who enjoys being difficult, but you might be able to sway him over to your side with a little motivation.

If food works, I'll try it. If I'm to stay on this ship with him, I'd rather it be as painless as possible.

That's the spirit! Hopefully he'll be slightly amenable and reciprocate if you make some overtures. It's unfortunate for it to be entirely your responsibility to begin things, but sometimes that's what it takes.
