And what would you like to do with this free time?

[ Dorian cants his head to the side, his smile playful as Cyril steps closer, though not close enough to draw suspicion. ]

In a rather fortunate turn of circumstances, I find myself without any plans thus far.

Well, I could take you back to my room to see exactly how this new tunic will fit?

[Or how it looks in his closet while they both remove clothing. He's not too picky.]

Perhaps after a bit more exploration? We could still look for something for you too.

[He adds the second option to give Dorian an out, to not pressure more than offer.]

And where, pray tell, would you like to explore?

[ The first option is always delightful and Dorian can't see it ever being boring.. though exploring the planet with Cyril sounds fun in a different manner. They've had very little time in which to do it, so it sounds rather nice. ]

A restaurant perhaps? A bit of lunch can never hurt.

A bit of lunch does sound rather good. I think I spotted a decent place to eat not far from here.

Let me pay the vendor for the tunic then and let's see how decent it is.

They seem to have a good handle on their spices, so I'm willing to trust.

[ He moves to the entrance to wait for Cyril, taking in the surrounding area. ]

Oh good, no more bland space food. That's always welcome.

Maker, I should hope not.

[ It's easy to fall into stride next to Cyril as they leave for the restaurant. Hopefully there will be some place nice to sit outside so they can enjoy the sun. ]

[It's a nice little cafe type situation and there is seating outside which Cyril loves because it means he can still people watch while also giving Dorian attention.

Once they have a table and are looking over options, he chuckles a little.]

The last time I took someone to a meal, it was Cole. That may be a hint that I need to get out more.

[ Why sit inside on such a beautiful day? People watching is also one of the perks, particularly the ones who are more animated about their teams of choice. The menu offers quite a few options, certainly more than he's used to, and frankly, everything sounds decent. Dorian raises an eyebrow at Cyril. ]

Then I'm glad to give you more lively company. I can only imagine that it was an interesting meal.

Rather normal, actually. It was shortly after he made the choice to become more human. He was learning.

[A pause, as he considers that.] You know, he has a lady friend now? It's all rather... interesting. The amount he's grown into his own.

Cole has become more human and has a lady friend? My, I never would have guessed.

[A pause.] Leilani says she encouraged him to remain spirit, so I wonder what his evolution is like for her...

I honestly can't say. I'm uncertain one way or the other how my own Inquisitor will handle the situation.

Mm. It's a shame I can't peek into your Thedas and find out. I find I really enjoy discovering the different ways others fulfill the role.

[But that doesn't stop this weird grip in his chest at the idea of Dorian disappearing.]

Does the Fleet allow one to make requests like that?

Somehow, I don't believe so, but I did make a promise.

It would be disorienting to dip in and out of realities, I'd imagine. One place gives you one set of memories, the other another.... How strange all of that would be.
