Waystation Mingle Log!
Who: GAME-WIDE MINGLE aka everyone
Broadcast: If you want
Action: The Stations!
When: From 04/05 through the month of April.
[Well, that all sure happened. But at least you have the waystations! Whether you want to stock up on supplies, work, trade, or visit the very fancy Virtual Reality Dome, it's bound to be a nice break from the attacks of the 5th.
Make your own prompts, set up your own Virtual Realities, etc! For reference, the OOC post with info is over here!]

Eventually, he settles on focusing on that last line.]
People always hold such varying beliefs. And so? What are your thoughts on it?
no subject
I don't think all of their work was for nothing. I like to combine both thoughts. We may share a chemical composition with the rest of the universe, but that composition is just a house for a spirit to live in. Magic can't be quantified. Gods can't be imagined, by their very nature.
The best of both worlds, perhaps.
no subject
I quite like that idea. While I never knew of molecules, I've always strove to learn what I can about the world. ...But it's what can't be explained that's the most beautiful.
[He really does mean that.
What a nerd.] I don't think one can exist without the other.no subject
Is this what you had imagined, asking me out for a walk like this?
no subject
Knowing so little of you, I didn't have much to go off of for an imagined scene. I'm simply blessed by your company. [Laying it on thick, but purposefully. He looks over, leaning a bit in as they walk. He's playful about it.] Though I didn't take you as the philosophical type.
no subject
[he says this with a little tilt of his head.]
Though I am, likewise, happy to hear that you've a functioning mind. And an openness. It's rare to find both in abundance.
no subject
I shall be sure to include a functioning mind on my small, boastful list of traits. [He ducks his head a little, tapping his temple as he looks between Robin and the direction they're walking.]
I work as a merchant, so perhaps that's it. [He slows his steps just slightly, folding his arms behind his back.] What about yourself? What sort of work did you do?
no subject
[something about that makes him laugh. he matches pace with Oren, putting his hands into his pockets. momentarily reflecting on how funny it is that they've slipped into such a casual talk with one another.]
I do all sorts of work. A professional wanderer, you could say.
no subject
Do not say it in such a way that you mean to define my entire existence! It is one of many duties. [He laughs, playful. Having more fun than he'd even thought he would.]
Not just a wanderer, but professionally. I can't say I'm surprised by a title like that, Robin. Perhaps your continued surprises are elsewhere?
no subject
[he reaches out to shove him in the arm. not very hard, of course. he's just playing.]
All right. I'm also a priest.
no subject
A priest? [Feigning disbelief (really, this seems more believable, or at least along the same lines), he stares as if picking Robin apart in analysis.] After that greeting?
no subject
['bless their hearts' would be the sarcastic phrase. he's only got a smirk about it.]
My training was unorthodox and I've never much felt for the "traditional moral values" instilled by our religious leaders. But, I can be called upon to perform rites, attend burials, and dismiss the lingering dead--so, yes. I still count.
no subject
I'd never doubt you counting, certainly. [If only other Priests were so much fun.] How do you like it? Your work. Unless it's a topic best not discussed in detail...
[He'll find anything to talk about, really. To extend the walk.]
no subject
[which is an odd way... to phrase that... but he doesn't seem remotely phased.]
And this isn't my real hair color. Not that it's related, we were just talking about surprises.
