Shopping

[Anyone who knows Biffy will know that of course he is going to take advantage of the shopping that is available here. Not only does he need to be shopping for himself but he also needs to be shopping for a certain captain who signed his wardrobe away to him. (Minus pieces of sentimental value naturally.)

That means that he can easily be found in various shops looking through what is available. At times he can be seen with some nicely wrapped packages or with some bags. Never more than a few at a time though. He would never burden himself so utterly with an overflowing load of purchased items. He has far too much pride in his appearance for that obviously.

But this does mean he's quite easy to run into it. Feel free to do so. He's even willing to give recommendations for items for you to purchase.]

Theater

[It's been a little while since he's had the chance to properly go to the theater. This life doesn't appear to really allow for it. A shame really since he's terribly fond of it. He remembers going to plenty of shows years ago when he was but a drone. Supporting the other boys in their artistic endeavors. Even now he smiles fondly at the thought as he stands in the lobby waiting for the show to start.

Everyone knows that you don't go your seat immediately, after all. One must first mingle a little then find your seat just before the curtain rises. That way various fashions can be compared and admired. It's terribly obvious really.

More than likely he's brought someone he knows to the show with him. If not then feel free to run into him. He does love to socialize.]

Yes, I was a spy. I actually was around some of the highest ranking in Fleet so I had to be careful with how I did my job.

[Lowering ranking Galra might dismiss a slip. Haggar, her druids, and others around them would not]

That means that you were extremely good at what you did. Otherwise they could have found you out immediately in such a dangerous position.

Exactly. And one of the witch's druids was not someone you wanted to alert that you were up to something. If they even suspected something, you were pretty much dead.

Others were in higher ranking positions, but not around the witch.

Does this witch have a name? It somehow seems important that you do not use it.

It is. We have a truce that is beneficial to both sides.

[He slowly lifts a brow at the phrasing.]

Is she here?

She is. On another ship in the fleet. To keep from having constant problems between our group and her, we have a truce. She doesn't come after us, we don't go after her.

I believe in this truce you have but may I know her name for the sake of being able to protect my pack just in case something goes wrong? I will not interfere with the matters you and the others have set in place. I only wish to protect my own should that fail.

[There's a moment of silence then he speaks]

Her name is Haggar. Most people just knew her as Zarkon's witch and those from our world may refer to her as such. She is usually seen wearing a purple robe and appears quite old. But don't be fooled by her. She is dangerous.

[Haggar. He keeps the name in mind and the description too. Biffy means what he says and he won't cause trouble but he's grateful to have the information.]

[Her name wouldn't have been shared with most people, but Ulaz feels he can trust Biffy to not use the information indiscriminately. It is also good someone their ship know, just in case, especially since Shiro has a target on his back when it comes to Haggar]

I hope there will never be a reason you should need to use that information.

As do I but ultimately time will tell. If it does go wrong though, I can promise that I will lead my pack into keep all of you safe.

Of course. We can never predict what will happen day to day, even hour to hour. That's how we come to be in some situations. If we could predict, everything would always go our way.

If we are ever together when she is around, I will discretely point her out so that you will know for future. However, I can never plan when I run into her.

If you have no enemies, you are lucky. If you do and they show up, I'm sure you will remember them then.

The only one I can think of is one that I will have to deal with personally. Even then, I doubt he would be brought here. I don't believe much entertainment could be had with him.

[Though he hopes not to have that werewolf brought here. He can almost taste that blood on his tongue all over again. That horrid, horrid taste of killing an immortal.]

That is true, but we also don't know what could considered amusing to them. Let's hope that they do not see any value in bringing him here.

[If he was and showed up, that would be dangerous for everyone. Ulaz was curious how the abilities Biffy and Lyall had compared, but it was not something he'd wish to risk anyone being hurt considering the steps they went through to keep the Blameless safe every month]

If you are asking if he is a werewolf then the answer is yes. However, I would say that is where the similarity stays. He has been without a pack for too long and lost his mind in the process.

[It's always a dangerous thing for a werewolf to be loner, after all.]

Yes, that was the question if he was a werewolf or something similar.

[He had heard about vampires so he couldn't be sure because he didn't know differences between them]

Is that usually something that happens to werewolves without a pack? Losing their minds?

Essentially. The pack is tethered together. Specifically to the Alpha. It keeps us all grounded as it were. That actually is one of the duties of the Alpha, to make sure that everyone doesn't lose their way in the world and always knows where home is.

That sounds like a difficult but important job, especially when the stakes are as high as the mental well-being of not just yourself, but others as well. It also sounds like this is something important for society as a whole if they tend to lose themselves when they don't have someone.

It is. Being an Alpha is not a role to be taken lightly. This is but one reason. Another is that Alphas are the ones who are the only ones to have an Anubis form which would allow them to change others into werewolves to continue the pack.

I see. So Alphas are responsible for the continuation of numbers in a pack. You are an Alpha? You have this ability then?

[Not that he has an interest in seeing it, but the scientific part of his brain is intrigued by all this new information about werewolves and their packs. There was nothing like this that he knew of back home so he wanted to learn what he could]
