[Veronica wakes with a distinct feeling of wrongness. The camera zooms in as blue eyes open, a frown already on her face. She sits up slowly, the covers falling off and pooling at her hips to reveal she's in standard Garrison uniform, the typical attire of an officer. Rubbing at her face, she looks to the side to spot her glasses and quickly jams them on.

Her frown deepens.] Where...am I...?

[Veronica slides out of bed, to find her shoes tucked neatly beside the bed. Frowning at them, she goes barefoot for now, instead running down the hallway and feeling cold metal under her feet.]

Hello? Is anyone there?

Action - Iskaulit & Blue Fish
[Veronica can be found wandering the Iskaulit and the S.S. Blue Fish restlessly. She's a hot mess of emotions, unsure how to deal with everything that is going on right now, and her first priority is just to become familiar with her surroundings. Most everything she would be interested in is on the Iskaulit, it seems, so this is where she starts.

She'll most often be pacing, but if you're lucky, you might catch her frowning and poking at her communicator, trying to make it function in some way like what she's used to. She wants more information, maybe this can help.]

My apologies for surprising you. I'm sure this is all a great deal to get used to. However, I am willing to answer whatever questions you have to the best of my ability. Even if they are about myself.

[Basically he's giving her permission to ask questions about him being a werewolf since he feels she must be curious.]

It...is a lot. [She looks down at her tea, chuckling softly, before taking another sip.

That makes her consider, and she's quiet for a moment.]

Well...how does it work? On Earth, the lore goes that werewolves change at the full moon. Is that right? And how does it work in space?

[dandyofawolf]

We do change with the full moon. It appears our cycle is steady though we are working with some here to place the exact dates on a calendar. Fortunately, my mate and I are able to feel when the time is approaching to lock ourselves away in advance.

[itsyagirl]

Huh. [She rubs the back of her head, confused.]

So, when we're near a system, do you respond to that system's moon? Or is it mostly the same?

[dandyofawolf]

The systems don't impact our cycles at all. Probably for the best though. That would be terribly distressing and hard on our systems.

[itsyagirl]

I see. That must be a relief. [She pauses a moment, sipping her tea.] I'm sorry, I hope you don't mind me asking. I've never met a werewolf before. Where I'm from, I don't think they exist. Just stories.

[dandyofawolf]

Not at all. Honestly I'd rather answer questions than have to live with unfair assumptions made that I am unaware of to correct.

[itsyagirl]

[Veronica nods.] Thank you for being understanding. The last thing I'd want to do is offend Lance's friend.

[dandyofawolf]

[He laughs gently.]

Well as long as you don't intend to insult my sense of style I think you'll find it difficult to offend me.
