Who: Veronica
Broadcast: open network
Action: Iskaulit and Blue Fish
When: network - friday. action - saturday
Broadcast / Action to anyone on the Marsiva
[Veronica wakes with a distinct feeling of wrongness. The camera zooms in as blue eyes open, a frown already on her face. She sits up slowly, the covers falling off and pooling at her hips to reveal she's in standard Garrison uniform, the typical attire of an officer. Rubbing at her face, she looks to the side to spot her glasses and quickly jams them on.
Her frown deepens.] Where...am I...?
[Veronica slides out of bed, to find her shoes tucked neatly beside the bed. Frowning at them, she goes barefoot for now, instead running down the hallway and feeling cold metal under her feet.]
Hello? Is anyone there?
Action - Iskaulit & Blue Fish
[Veronica can be found wandering the Iskaulit and the S.S. Blue Fish restlessly. She's a hot mess of emotions, unsure how to deal with everything that is going on right now, and her first priority is just to become familiar with her surroundings. Most everything she would be interested in is on the Iskaulit, it seems, so this is where she starts.
She'll most often be pacing, but if you're lucky, you might catch her frowning and poking at her communicator, trying to make it function in some way like what she's used to. She wants more information, maybe this can help.]

[Lance hasn't seen a member of his family for years now. He has no idea how they're getting along, or what's happening back on Earth. Though Earth was their next destination, he still hadn't expected to see her like this. Not here, and yet, her face is unmistakable.]

Lance. [She lets out a sigh of relief, sinking down to sit on the ground.] It's good to see a familiar face. Do you know what's going on? I just woke up somewhere...not where I went to bed.

So he approaches and politely nods his head to her, even tilting his hat.]
Forgive me for interrupting, miss. You appear to be lost. Is there some way I can assist you?
no subject
At least time stops back home. Hopefully Mama and Papa aren't even aware that she's missing.
She starts in surprise at the stranger's voice, finding herself rather charmed by his gentlemanly approach and even the tip of a hat. Who does that these days? It reminds her of an old movie, and she smiles despite herself.]
Oh! Ah, no, not...exactly lost. I'm new to this place, and frankly, I'm not too pleased about it.
no subject
[He waves his hand to the side.]
My salon is near here. May I offer you a cup of tea there? While I'm not sure how many questions I can answer, I can promise to do my best.
[And he offers her a warm smile.]
My name is Sandalio de Rabiffano, by the way. Though my friends call my Biffy.

Action - Iskaulit
Though, the news that they'd made it... they'd gotten back to Earth... that was good. Maybe. Keith wasn't sure. He knew they had to go, and he was happy that the others were going to get home and be reunited with their families. He just had nothing there anymore but a tombstone and an old shack that might not even be livable anymore. And the speeder, but who knew what condition that was in from sitting there for so long. He'd be lucky if it actually started.
But, that was beside the point. They made it back. Which meant they could rebuild the Castle of Lions, and get Shiro's arm fixed because Commander Holt had all those files they needed. And that was a good thing. That was definitely a good thing.
He draped the towel around his neck after a good workout, determined to go take a quick power nap and shower before doing some helm duty on the Huntress. He bumped into someone as his head wasn't really paying attention, and muttered a quick apology as he tried to keep going. He didn't immediately notice the family resemblance, but... that was okay... she'd recognize him even if he didn't know it, yet.]
no subject
She's wandering too, lost in thought on how to make this as easy as possible for everyone involved, when she bumps shoulders with someone. Startled, she apologizes as well, only to recognize that familiar mullet.]
Oh, Keith! I didn't notice-- Hi. How are you?
[It's temporarily slipped her mind that Lance and Keith are together -- she's a bit distracted.]
no subject
[Keith stared at her. Uh-oh... was this another glitch thing? He had to really think about it for a moment and then-
Oh right. Lance's sister. He managed a small smile.]
Uh, hi. You're uh... Lance told me you were here.
[Don't mind him, Veronica. He didn't know you, yet.]

And by now he's become relatively good with spotting newcomers. He'll give a little nod of greeting.]
Good evening, miss. Be careful while you move with your head down this way. You might trip.
[The place can have unexpected steps, and he wouldn't want a lady to fall flat on her face.]
no subject
But wow, this place is full of good looking gentleman! She can't help but smile.]
Oh, thank you. That's very kind. It seems more stable than the last ship I was on before coming here though, so I think I'll be alright. [She gives him a polite smile. She's a big girl, she can handle some wobbles.]
no subject
[He has met a few people who knew spaceships before.]
Are you newly arrived?

So imagine his surprise when he's in the Iskaulit, taking his dog for a walk, and comes across her. He remembers seeing her around in the Garrison, but it's the resemblance to Lance that helps identify her the most.]
Oh, hey. [He waves with an arm different to what she may be used to.] Veronica, right? Lance mentioned you've been brought here too.
no subject
Also? She's in space now. That's also a handful to comprehend.
She spots the dog(??) before noticing who its attached to, her eyes widening in surprise and shock. It's sort of like Kosmo, only...not at all. It's another surprise for Takashi Shirogane to be the one walking it, and she just sort of blinks for a moment before snapping to attention.]
Captain Shirogane, sir! It's a pleasure to see you.

Marsiva - because why not
So he had been heading back to the main room when Veronica came into the hallway, looking every bit of a Victorian gentleman even under the circumstances]
Ah, darling, you are awake. Well, I hope. There doesn't seem to be anyone here who is actually working on this vessel.
no subject
What she definitely does not expect to see on an apparently magic space ship reality show is a legitimate dandy, like one straight out of a movie. Veronica blinks, staring at him for a few moments before being able to respond.]

Is there anything I can help you with?
[He noted that she appeared to be having issues with her communicator and thought he could help her with that at least.]

Oh, thank you, perhaps you could? I was hoping to find more information about the Fleet.

More... familial? Like her features are a softer match to someone else he's seen. But who?
With that wiggling at the back of his mind, he approached the young woman, having come from the library, a book tucked under his arm. ]
Need some help? These things can be tricky to figure out at first.
no subject
...Would you mind? Normally I'm so good with tech, but apparently not with this. I think just a crash course it how it works would be enough.

But even with a specific destination in mind, she usually does try to take note of the other passengers around her. This woman is no different--the pacing is hard to ignore. ]
Excuse me...are you alright? Might I help you find something?
no subject
[Veronica is starting to get a hang of this, though it's a work in progress. She hasn't looked up at the person who is addressing her yet, fumbling through something on her communicator, until she finally actually lifts her head.
Her eyes widen slightly in delight, a smile spreading across her face.]
Oh, Princess! It's so good to see you! I'm not sure if you heard yet... I'm Veronica, Lance's sister.
