[Victor finally changed out of the striped suit he'd been wearing when he arrived. Not knowing if there was a proper medical uniform, he went with blue scrubs. Seemed like a safe bet. His hair is still darkened, since he didn't want to waste resources getting hair dye. And he's already made himself at home in the Heron's sick bay]

So I finally made it onto a space ship. I want to be excited about it. We're going to be out there exploring new worlds, discovering new life, boldly going and all that. And yet... [He sighs] This isn't really how I thought it'd go. Though if this is some ridiculous reality show, it would figure that they did it this way. Increasing drama, I guess.

Crew of the Heron, I'm your new medical officer. Or doctor or whatever it's called here. I'll keep my office hours flexible if you need anything. I've heard a lot of stories about living and working on a star ship. In spite of everything, I'm looking forward to it.

[And with that, he sets about cataloging all the stuff in the sick bay so he knows where all the medicine and equipment is. He doesn't know whether or not any of his new crew will come by, but he'll keep the door open for them just in case]

[Because Lup isn't the only one who can steal onto ships, Taako has smuggled himself board the Heron in order to return something to her. If Victor has met her already, he'll notice that Taako looks exactly like her, only male, and dressed incredibly loudly in the worst sneaking clothes ever which is a big ol' wizard hat and a pair of rainbow glitter sneakers and matching t-shirt over black leggings.

He tried for subtle with the black, okay?

He's on his way with a plate of rainbow swirl jam cookies to leave in the Heron's kitchen when he notices the new addition. Never mind sneaking, he's intrigued. Taako walks past the lab door, stops, then backs up, peering inside.]

New crew, huh? Welcome to the Love Boat: Kidnappers Edition.

[Because no one broadcasts from his ship's med bay without his knowledge and doesn't get a giant (like 7.5 feet tall and broad) horned man on their doorstep a few moments later. As the door opens, he raps his knuckles on the door frame as though disturbing the doctor could be an issue.]

Medical officer, huh? My new doctor got a name?

It does put a damper on things, unfortunately.

The view's nice! Once you get used to it.

[Freya's ears perk up. She's currently in the engine room of the Heron when she flicks on the video.]

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?

I don't want a doctor.

[Someone new. He sees when he arrives and sees what rooms he goes to. Which is how he knows when the doctor is in. And he's not quite sure what all a doctor is meant to do but he still comes to watch.

So at some point Victor may suddenly realize he isn't alone. When did the young man with the strange mask get there? Who knows. But he's there now.

Watching.

Hi. Meet one of your crew mates.]

[Oh, look, here comes part 2 of the elven twin set. She's all for getting to know the new faces on board, so before too long she pokes her head into the lab to make herself known.]

_{[ He doesn't immediately appear on the screen, having listened to Victor, and was... piqued by certain phrasing. He was sure it was nothing, nothing at all. It wasn't as if that particular phrase was unique, after all. But it made something flicker inside of him, a little bit of hope. It had been so long since someone else from his and Chekov's world had arrived, though he was fairly certain Victor wouldn't be from their exact time frame. If he was from their world at all. The fact he had never been on a starship was a rather large point against that theory, but it was not entirely impossible.

Being here really made you start reading into things, didn't it?

He finally opens a video feed, in all his blue-eyed glory. ]}

You're taking being kidnapped by mysterious overlords surprisingly well. You must have really liked those space stories someone told you.
