GIFT EXCHANGE MINGLE

This is usually done as a meme, but I thought I could make it an actual thing in case anyone wants some nice threads out of it. The rules are simple: make a top level with your character's Xmas gift list for their friends! Then go around and react to what others have gotten for yours. You can make it an action thread and play out the actual giving, or a text thread to say thank you, or just some narration to show how the character feels about their gift... the sky is the limit, do whatever you want with your threads!

Posting this early so people have time to thread it out before the holidays come, and to have time to go google-shopping.

Also reminder that for system shenanigans we have a mingle over here! Never too late to tag into that too.

Pilot of the Huntress! Like Shiro, Lance will be off at a wedding on the 25th, but he'll be around in the morning/afternoon before booking it to help finish the wedding setup. He'll try to hand out all the gifts both then and maybe some the night before.

-Akeldama: A light, somewhat floral scented cologne.
-Allura: A comfy mouse ears hoodie (but in pink).
-Biffy: A brush and mirror set (not actual silver).
-Kaname: Two fancy hair bows (but in green).
-Keith: Near-exact replica of his crop-top jacket and leather gloves from back home.
-Kirk: A nice, semi-expensive bottle of whiskey for those special occasions.
-Looma: A heavy duty sharpening kit for her forge.
-Lyall: A general history book of what seems to be Earth-matching science that'd fit the 20th and 21st centuries.
-Mikleo & Sorey: Matching blue and white scarves.
-Peter: A microscope!
-Pidge: An assortment of hair accessories (clips, headbands, etc) ranging from utilitarian to a little cuter if she wants to pretty it up sometime, for her growing hair.
-Prompto: A tripod!
-Shiro: A pendant with a sword and shield. On the shield is a lion design. Because you're always gonna be a paladin, Jiro Shiro. Also, some toys for Procyon.
-Ulaz: A Christmas themed Hawaiian shirt.
-Veronica: Violet scented perfume.

[There's nothing more fulfilling than being a paladin. Shiro stares at the pendant for a while, the clone's memories clear in his mind, because they're his feelings too.]

[Because Keith knew the exact jacket from home would be too small, but this one fit... so this wasn't something Lance was able to get from the Atroma or something.]

[He smiles as Keith inspects the jacket, hoping that he likes it.]

Yeah, I did. Sorry if a detail or two is off 'cause all I had to go by was my memory.

No, it's... It's good. The size is good, too.

[It wasn't a complicated design, but Lance had gotten it pretty near perfect, considering he probably had to describe it to someone who'd never seen it before and get the sizing right now that Keith had grown around his shoulders and chest, so Keith was definitely impressed. It felt a little weird to be wearing it again, honestly... nostalgic, in a way. He smiled a bit.]

[He was also glad Lance hadn't used his wish at the tree for something that was ultimately a gift to someone else. Keith didn't want him to give that up. He leaned in and gave him a soft kiss.]

Great. Awesome. Honestly, I really missed seeing you in it.

[Honestly, he'd almost been tempted to use his wish on that. But he'd remembered enough that he was confident he could get a good replica, so that was that. For now, he happily returns that kiss.]

It's still kinda dorky, but I've grown to like it.

Eh, I'm fine with a slightly baggy jacket. My normal jacket is a little big on me as it is.

Oh no-- We have to see if my jacket still fits you! I'm going to be heartbroken if it doesn't!

Well, it won't be as big as it used to be on me. I don't know if I grew out of it, though.
