[If there's anything this freaking ship loves, it's food. Somehow, a dinner got planned to welcome the new member. And then other people got invited. And then the dinner pretty much turned into a party with a lot of food. Needless to say, Kairi has been very busy preparing food all the day for this.

There's a lot of meat, per the captain's request. But there's also veggies, some fruit, pasta, and even brownies! There are also two pizza pies. Basically, Kairi just cooked a bunch of food and hoped it would be enough, as she had no idea how many people were coming.

SO DIG IN, BLUE FISH AND GUESTS. Also mingle and be social and all that jazz!]

A-are you sure? [For now, Usagi is less concerned about the untimely death of her dinner. There's always the opportunity for more. First impressions however...]

You're a doctor? [The admiration is hardly veiled at all, and Usagi momentarily thinks that this is the FIRST person she'd have Ami meet.]

I am! I've been one for practically my whole life at this point.

Waah... Really?! You must be really smart! My friend Ami wants to be a doctor, she's really smart too. [Gosh she misses her friends.]

I bet she'd have a lot of questions to ask you! Doctors here seem to be different than back home. [Sort of, at least. Technology.]

I'm no smarter than the average person [Lies. Don't listen to her Usagi, she's one smart cookie], I just had really good teachers and worked hard.

I'm sure she would! I've had a lot of questions myself for the other doctors and healers I've run into here. With all these different people from different worlds, I suppose it's only natural that we have different medical practices.

No way! I don't think I could ever be smart enough to be a doctor. English is hard enough. [Honestly, Dr. Usagi would be kind of terrifying.]

I guess you're right though! We use medicine at home. Like pills and shots, but it's not the same thing that I've seen here or on the Marsiva. [She laughs a little.] It's like from something on a TV show!

What I have at home isn't too different from here, but I've met several healers who use... [She hesitates to use the word, but alas, it's probably the easiest way to put it right now.] magic.

[Usagi nods, not thrown by the use of the word magic. She is, afterall, a magical girl who uses healing magic of sorts. Purification. But that's not something she's about to start talking about.]

Hehe I guess with all the different ways there are to heal people w're able to keep everyone pretty healthy then, right?

Yes, everyone's response after the attack was remarkable. Almost no one was hurt seriously... I hope we can keep that up in the future!
