[When Felix makes this communication at first it's clear that he's just doing it to find out if he really knows how. At first it turns a bit, slowly, but you can see the floor and the view part before it settles on his face.

His eyes are narrow, but not in an aggressive way. Mostly, he's just dealing with the fact that he has all this new information in his head. Shouldn't he be freaking out about it? Instead he just feel calm and curious.]

Well, this is certainly new.

When I said before I was ready for the Maker's Embrace I wasn't exactly thinking it'd be a spaceship. [And that new word comes to him effortlessly, making the joke less awkward that it should have been. He gives the fleet a small, half smile.]

They're going to have to change all of the religious texts, if that's true.

[The tone of his voice and the smile still on his face, showing clearly that he knows he isn't actually dead. He's mostly just dealing with this entire thing by making a joke because he still can't find the energy to be too concerned about it. Even the joke, though, comes off as more a comfortable, muted snark, than that he's expecting to bring the house down with laughter.]

I'm Felix. Obviously, I've just arrived.

[Oh. Eugh, he's probably right.]

[She grimaces and, after a moment's pause, deepens her voice and:]

"If it's not in the scriptures, man wasn't meant to know of it!" They'd probably say something like that.

[He chuckles a bit.]

Yes! It will sound exactly like that. Or they'll excuse it as all part of the Maker's hidden plan.

[She huffs out a laugh, shaking her head. It's almost funny how easily she can picture one of the Cardinals saying something like that.

Where it's God or this... "Maker..." Sure sounds like the clergy doesn't change.]

The hidden plan, huh? So we've just gotta be patient! And stop saying weird things!

Ha! My butt.

[He smiles a bit, because he isn't sure exactly how to reply.

Then, after a moment,]

I'm sure that whatever technology they used has very little to do with religion.

[Don't mind her. She doesn't always think before she speaks.]

Probably not. [She nods, leaning back slightly.]

I don't think religion's really interested in going to space, you know?

I don't think the Chantry even realizes it can. That would lead to all sorts of complications.

[A pause. The Chantry... Probably some kind of church? Oh, man, she better remember to ask about that later.]

Yeah... I guess you're right. [A shrug.] It's probably the same for the Cardinals back home, too! Things would probably be pretty different if they knew we could come here.

[Another pause.] Or they'd be trying to find a way to tell everyone in space about the scriptures.

Your Cardinals sounds a bit like what we have back home. I suppose faith works much the same everywhere?

Probably! Everything you said... It sounds like stuff the Cardinals would do. I bet they'd get along, too.

[She huffs out a laugh.] If they didn't start arguing about whether it's God or the Maker!

Oh, I'm certain they would start arguing about that during the first moment.

It'd just be weird if they didn't.

Oh, but, um. I'm Leanne. [Cue her just realizing now she didn't introduce herself.] It's pretty nice to meet someone else who gets all this... weird religious figures stuff.

It's nice to meet you, Leanne.

And religion is always a difficult subject.
