[ Actually, use of the term "skullkid" was not exactly correct for once, since she's not wearing it today. Who is this normal kid hanging around the SS Red Fish? Or hanging around the shops here.

Your situation is certainly different than mine... I can imagine it was difficult in many ways, living so long. But is enforcing your own loneliness really the best alternative?

There are animals who die of loneliness, but I'm not one of them.

They used to be the same thing. It does make getting acclimated easier. Learning many new things and being in an entirely new situation all at once is much more difficult than finding something familiar.

I think you can do it with potatoes, at least to a certain stage!

I'd certainly be able to start much sooner than if I keep waiting to find usable soil...

Why don't you give it a shot with one or two? You could see if it worked, and then cultivate more if yes. I'd appreciate your help in setting up a garden in my lab too, if you were willing.

I wouldn't mind that at all. Although...it might go slower for you if I'm not around to help.

I can be patient, and the more we have growing, the better for everyone! If you played your cards right you might even come up with a nice little barter item.

Goodwill can be useful on its own. Did you know... I think if humanity's at peace someday, I might like to study botany.

It certainly could be useful when it came to crop development! I also thought about history. We've lost so much history, it's tragic.

You certainly are ambitious.

I may have one or two ambitions. We'll just have to see what bears fruit.
